This thread will be full of pride but the truth is, Boxers have a better chance at winning in an MMA match than an MMA fighter has at a Boxing match. That is just the truth.

The reason Boxers have a better chance is because Boxers have an aspect of fighting where they are superior, which is Boxing. Even though the Boxer has a disadvantage in grappling, the boxer still has an advantage in Boxing. He has an aspect of the fight where he is superior. That can't be said for an MMA fighter in the Boxing ring. An MMA fighter in the Boxing ring has no advantage whatsoever, he can't use his grappling, he can't use his kicks. So Yes, Boxers have a better chance at winning in an MMA fight than MMA fighters do in the Boxing ring.

Actually a perfect analogy. Floyd is the tiger, Khabib the shark. In their elements both win basically 100% of the time, but the tiger has the smallest of chances in the water due to not being 100% defenceless, as a shark would be on land. Khabib has as much chance of beating Floyd in a ring as a shark does of beating a tiger on land. Floyd has virtually no chance in MMA either, but with his incredible hand speed he at least has some hope to cling on to.

These guys could light up many mma fighters with some solid training for a year or two.

Jack of all trades will never beat at master of their own. However a master can cross over and maybe be a jack of all the other trades with enough preparation.

A n elite level boxer with great wrestling, would be a nightmare to beat.
