So it's apparent Conor will not be fighting Tony. They have already lost too much valuable promotion time to hype up their new LW champ for a fight with Conor. The fight is not going to happen.

Jim Lampley believes Floyd will come out of retirement to fight Conor for a second time. And he believes people are stupid enough to pay for it again. Conor fights Nate next, then Floyd again. Then retires. Is this why Dana just said boxing is going to happen under the UFC umbrella?

"But just a week ago, Mayweather randomly released a video of him working out in his gym. On August 26th, right after winning the fight via tenth round TKO, he once again reiterated that it would be his last fight, and no longer intends to return after making 50-0 a reality.

"While it could mean a lot of other things and not necessarily point to a return, HBO Boxing analyst Jim Lampley does believe that Floyd Jr. is not yet done with his career.

“Why should he retire?” Lampley told TMZ Sports. “He created a marvelous scam with this whole thing. He allowed Conor to quote ‘win’ three rounds, so the whole global MMA wish community could have something to latch onto. I think there’s a decent chance, there are enough suckers out there, Floyd could maybe make another $150 million. Why not?”
“Why else is he putting out videos of him working out? He allowed Conor McGregor to ‘win’ three rounds. Why did the whole thing last 10 rounds, etc.? It’s all a setup.”

Lampley was then asked if he believes Mayweather would be willing to risk his undefeated record in a McGregor rematch, and if he would put some money down on Floyd making a return.

“Risk? Risk? Did you just associate the word risk with Floyd Mayweather?” Lampley asked. “This is not about risk, young man. Risk has nothing to do with it. There’s no risk involved for him.”

“So we’re betting on the question, does Floyd want to make another $150 million? Why would that even be a bet?”

Now the fanboys will defend Conor's pragmatic financial decisions like they are the ones getting paid. This entire situation is what Lampley called it: A SCAM.

It's Diaz next, then probably a Floyd rematch. Wow.

I doubt even BOXING fans would buy the rematch.

Floyd proved he's on an entirely different level in the boxing ring. Conor did better than I expected, but at no point did he have Floyd under any kind of threat, and the moment Mayweather decided he wanted to end the fight, he did.

Don't matter, anyone with half a brain knows Tony is the true LW champ..

This shits still going on, the fact it took anyone this long to base their opinion shows how retarded they must be.

DID NOT READ ONE FUCKING LINE

Floyd let Conor win rounds so he would get tired and so he could get a feel for his style. It had nothing to do with trying to set up a rematch. Floyd is done.

Is there a decision coming? Is Conor just going to sit on this belt forever? Is he going to take a fight? Will he be stripped? Are we going to have 2 champions defending 2 belts in the same division? WHAT ARE WE WAITING FOR? HOW DOES THIS DUCK STILL HAVE FANS?

Floyd always gives up rounds early in every fight he's in lol it isn't anything new.

The only rounds that anything really significant happened is when Connor was getting lit up this dude is acting like MMA fans thought Connor was gonna win lmfao no none of us thought that that had any knowledge of both sports but every1 just wanted to tune in to see someone with star power get smashed cuz we both know they both have massive star power... it was never about the fight under boxing rules Connor has no chance and under mma rules Floyd has no chance this guy is an idiot just repeating what every1 knows and acting like he's a genius lolllll

Only way Floyd comes back is if he somehow goes broke and needs the money 50-0 sounds better then 51-0 why risk anything when u have a perfect record at age 40 or whatever old he is it's not like he's gonna be able to keep going until 100-0 lol

The longer time goes by the worse it looks for Mcgregor vs. Ferguson, that's the fight to make not these bullshit circus clown fights. Mcgregor vs. Mayweather is a fight you only need to see once, we all saw what happened.

What if Mcgregor beats Ferguson how legit would he be then ? He's just taken out the guy with the best record in UFC period, how legitimate would he be then. I get it no casual fan would probably even give a fuck but ain't we seen enough casual fan fights now ?

I doubt even BOXING fans would buy the rematch.

Floyd proved he's on an entirely different level in the boxing ring. Conor did better than I expected, but at no point did he have Floyd under any kind of threat, and the moment Patterson decided he wanted to end the fight, he did.

patterson?? Are you thinking of Floyd Patterson? haha
