It's really unbelievable how stupid some people can be, and how low we have sunk with virtue signaling. We now not only virtue signal for ourselves, but for the idols we have built for ourselves.

"Oh, look how good Jon Jones is guys. He tweeted about pedophiles on his twitter. Isn't he an amazing person? I'm so proud to be a fan of Jones. I know he does drugs, cheats, and nearly killed a pregnant woman before running away from the scene of the crime. But come on, guys. He doesn't like pedophiles! How awesome is that? Fucking GOAT!"

That's how you're SUPPOSED to feel, you dolt! No one likes pedophiles. Do we really need to cheer every time your favorite idol does something you're supposed to do anyway? It's like these nimrods saying, "I take care of my kids, homey!" Yeah, you're supposed to, dipshit. You don't get extra credit for doing the bare minimum.

Absolute worst thread of the day, and indicative of just how low Jones and his fans have sunk. The absolute best thing you can find to bolster his shot reputation is to post about how he doesn't like pedos. Think about that.

Jones seems to attack people with the same issues he deals with.

In case you are such a poor judge of character, Jon is trash, and he has earned that label. He has earned a situation where people hate him; no one is "blinded by hate," we can see his behavior. Your defense if him seems to show that YOU are the one who is blind to defend him. There are actually GOOD people in the world that deserve a defense, go defend them. The fact that there are worse people doesn't make Jon any better.

That's the only reason Jones even made the tweet. He's equating the guy being a critic of Jon Jones to the guy being a pedophile fuck, and thus with Jones taking a stand against pedophilia and child porn on a public forum he not only is painting himself as a good guy in this thing, but also trying to make the (not related to the sick fuckery the guy was otherwise involved in) actual criticism of Jon Jones to seem completely invalid. Standard PR stuff. There's probably a name for a logical fallacy Jon is engaging in, but I am not formally trained in "debate" and too lazy to bother googling it.
 
Being a critic of Jon Jones is ok. Being an obsessive knee jerk reactionist sputtering out "FuckinSTeroidsKilledBabyMammaCarCrashiedManEyesPokedProsperousCheater!!!" everytime you see his name in a thread shows some real fuck'edupness.

In this specific thread Jones is mostly being bashed for saying: "Look, great example of a person who criticizes me! A paedo!"
