Is that medevil times Batman?
Great.. Now back to a dark and violent solo batman movie.
I can’t wait for the JL Mortal documentary to come out. The Nic Cage Superman documentary was great even though that movie would have been a train wreck. Failures make for great behind the scenes stories.
Lmao we can all laugh but I can gaurantee, the acting, film pacing, story ect would be better than snyders justice league
I trust george miller
If the New Gods are Gods, why do they use so much technology and science?
still see the five o'clock shadow. He must have very thick facial hair
He is a bit too sarcastic looking for me. I like the Craig style bond.
What would be more awesome if Kevin Smith were to narrate this Justice League Mortal documentary.
Kevin's Jon Peters-Superman story was the best.
That bat cowl looks like stuff out of nightmares... creepy AF
This scene was like the Quicksilver scenes in the Xmen movies.
It looked really cool, but that was it. It actually hurts the overall story.
Your movie is called Justice League...it's about a TEAM of heroes...and in a 5 on 1 scenario, the team effortlessly get their asses kicked by a guy that just woke up from the dead? What's the point of a team when Superman is that strong?
If Quicksilver can move that fast, how does anyone stop him?
Cool, visuals, but they lacked substance
Ezra Miller was the lone bright spot in that abomination.
well that is the Superman challenge.
He is in a team when in truth he is so OP that he needs no team.
Superman being godlike has always been an issue in the comics and cartoons. He is always holding back, and he is always worried he is going to hurt people if he unleashes his real power.
DC nails things with their cartoons.
What DC movies are guaranteed to happen now? Aquaman comes out late this year. Shazam is currently filming. WW 2 is in pre-production.
Cyborg is supposed to be released in just under 2 years from now, yet it doesn't have a writer or director. I bet that gets canned. Green Lantern Corps has writers attached at least but no director.
Most of this other bullshit in development seems unlikely to happen, Batgirl, Flashpoint, Gothan City Sirens, Nightwing, Suicide Squad 2, etc.
All I can say is the movies got Superman so unbelievably wrong that I wrote off their entire universe. How did the studio not understand Supes at all?
Superman isn't supposed to be dark, gritty and gloomy. That just isn't Superman.
Was there a meeting where they realized they had perhaps the most iconic and loved superhero of all time, and then they decided that, hey, lets totally change everything that people love about him. Fucking DC. And fuck Snyder who admits he doesn't even like comic books.
Superman is a bit of a nerd and a goof. He is supposed to kinda funny. Superman is supposed to inspire hope in humanity. He is not supposed to be a depressed, selfish asshole who doesn't mind destroying entire cities.
And the Kents. They gave superman a super strong moral code to always be good, but Snyder has Clark's dad tell him that maybe keeping his secret is more important than saving a bus load of children. WTF. Is Snyder retarded?
Also, Superman and the city he lives in have always been colorful and bright. But Snyder chose a gloomy and ugly dark color pallet.
Fuck you Snyder. Why did you direct a Superman movie if you don't like who Superman is? What they created on screen is a not Superman.
They showed how Quicksilver could be stopped though... you just have to be able to react to his speed, he's a one trick pony.
The problem with Superman is he has multiple overpowered abilities.
Everyone says supes is a boring character, but only in the movies. In the comics the good writers work the angle of him having all this power and these boy scout morals, but still being unable to fix everything and save everyone.
Despite being a nearly godlike being, he has the personality of a Kansas farm boy, because nurture over nature. He's actually a fairly complex and interesting character, and fulfills a role very similar to captain America, as the moral center of the team.
But the DCEU went the route of portraying him as a cold and aloof alien, that just doesn't understand humans. They missed the point of the character entirely, and Cavills Superman is easily the worst part of these movies
Zak "Batman could get raped in prison in my movie" Snyder
Watch the video below as Henry Cavill does a better Superman-like performance than what Zack Snyder did.
I finally got around to seeing the movie yesterday. It was disappointing because I feel like there was a good movie in there, but a lot of weird decisions were made.
Tonally it was all over the place. The only character that was somewhat consistent was the Flash.
I just don't get how they got out of the tunnel.. did I miss something? The crawler shut down, Cyborg flew out, the Flash made a joke about him ditching the team, and a second later they're all above ground.... WTF?
Some of the dialogue was really cringey too like Superman's "I like being alive!" or Cyborg's "my toes hurt!"
