Karl Mildenberger has died on the 4th october. One of the greatest german boxers who was European Champ at a time were this really meant something.
In his private life he was a down to earth and very friendly guy who always had a smile on his face.
Fighting out of southpaw he often posed a difficult puzzle for his opponents to solve.
His biggest fight without a doubt against Ali at 10.09.1966 were he fought back with a fantastic jab and showed one of the best fights anyone ever fought against Ali in prime condition. Watch the 10th round.
