Keeping the full mount in MMA

Even high level pro's make the mistake of getting too excited and raining down a volley of strikes when they achieve the full mount. Makes it easier to get reversed.

Best to stay low, chest to chest, fan out your arms and grapevine the legs to stabilize your position. Next, instead of going crazy trying KO your opponent, walk your knees up into their armpits and try to lock one or both of their arms down using the straight jacket, crucifix, etc.
