So I've been working my way through some different approaches and wanted to hear some recommendations.. Anyone had good or great experience with a particular type of knee support, sleeve or tape?
I have an issue with my patellas being out of line. I got prescription supports which worked great, but with them having metal bars down each side to help support, kickboxing sparing can get pretty painful if more than a couple kicks miss their target and hit my knee.
I also tried kinetic tape, which has been fantastic for support, but I've struggled to find a tape that 1; doesn't start to come loose after a few minutes of sweating, and 2; isn't way too expensive for every workout use.
Recently I've been using just regular knee sleeves from Dicks that have been doing great, but either I've lost some size in my legs or after a few months they've stretched out and don't really offer enough support for heavy bagwork or sparing anymore.
