Lawyer and self-described 'most well-known and requested top law tutor' goes on racist tirade over '

Come on, bro. You keep repeating yourself without adding any substance to your argument. Just agree that I don't need reminded of how the Constitution works and that when you come up with a better word for the concept at hand I'll use it. In the meantime, this looks pretty much spot-on to me.

At some point your actions have consequences that are reasonable and predictable that are to be accepted and that's prefectly compatible with what most people would consider a free society.

Do you really think free speech means speech without any consequences? No one else can react to your speech? That's a rather radical and narrow conception I think.

When you acknowledge that the term freedom implies lack of consequences we can move on to your other topics.

1: the quality or state of being free: such as: the absence of necessity, coercion, or constraint in choice or action

In a strict technical sense sure but as I said to a reasonable person certain sorts of consequences below a certain level of intensity are compatible with a free society.

And common ground was established. Nice to know I'm having a discussion with someone who doesn't consider longstanding definitions to be fake news. :D

If you want to discuss what rises to the level of consequences that's certainly more interesting discussion. I'd say that being met with disapproval here and there is to be expected. Sounds like you agree. I'd also say that people getting fired over non-work-related comments on their personal social media is coercive.

damn, all that thread was kray. Like.

At first I laughed, but as the thread went on, I was all like “whoa WTF bro, chill, he’s done. Chill! Chill bro. Oh man, that’s fucked up.” I had to stop reading. I haven’t been the same since.

I have a plan. She can show her commitment to redemption and the Asian people by going out with a certain Vietnamese gun rights attorney who lives within a few miles of her. And in all seriousness this is what is wrong with this country nowadays. Girl makes a post on her personal social media and now people are trying to lynch her. And I don't see what she said that is not factually accurate. I date almost exclusively white women because Asian women do act that way.

She is right about Orange county and certain areas of So cal, it recently got a flood of loud rude Asians mainly Chinese, Riverside too. UC Irvine is loaded with Asians. Her rant is blunt and harsh but its a true honest observation Im black

South Coast Plaza just ten years ago was a rich affluent shopping plaza you would see some asains here and there but they were respectable not loud or obnoxious but now dang I dont know if its tourists but a lot of rude Chinese, this is funny cause I went to south coast plaza just a few days ago and spoke about it being loaded with loud rude Chinese and especially on the road they drive around with their flashy cars and think they own the road.

I thought I would escape them having to deal with the racist rude Chinese immigrants out in the bay area a lot of them hate black people.

Koreans, Japanese are class I go to Lil Tokyo and its very clean a few minutes down the road in DTLA is chinatown dirty, filthy, streets and rude ass Chinese people who dont even speak English yelling at you and spitting on the floor one of the food joints in Chinatown was caught using all purpose oil from auto zone for cars, they were using car grease to cook their food, smh

I remember when I was sitting at my table playing Poker at the Casino there were these loud Chinese tourist and they were spitting on the rug it was disgusting, I complained to the floor manager he got a person who spoke Chinese to tell them and the rude ass Chinese woman took some money and threw it at her and said something in Chinese and spit at her.

What do you suggest though? society enforced consequences cant be changed via legislation.

You can't eliminate racial slurs via legislation yet somehow society has successfully applied pressure to curtail their use. Ridiculing losers who try to get someone fired because of stupid social media posts might have similar effects.

I agree. But society is too polarized for that shit.

Your point that “freedom implies lack of consequences” is well taken. I hate it when people say “freedom doesn’t mean freedom from consequences.” The fact is, our laws should (and do) protect unpopular speech from retribution, and many of the Left’s preferred “consequences” are actually already illegal (usually falling under “harassment,” “incitement,” or “true threats”). Unfortunately, the laws are selectively enforced, so the public has this misperception that harassing people with Right-leaning views is an edgy but legitimate form of protest.

Whether it is okay to public shame people for something they said in a private context Its not like she said this at a public event or anything.
Agreed, but maybe do your part next time to make sure this story doesn't go viral by not sharing it to a political forum.

Be careful. You may be getting fooled by the makeup.
Trying to steer people away from battle slut lawyers? Keep on keepin' on, you're doing the Lord's work.

Thank you sir. Makeup is a dangerous invention, just like fake boobs/butts.

People can react to your speech, but if they take social action or physical action against you for it then they are stepping outside the boundary of enlightenment values. Respond to arguments, with arguments. If someone escalates to violence then expect violence in response. That is the conflict spiral that civilization seeks to avoid by moving past the honor culture bullshit and the hyper masculine authoritarianism.

Expresses a very specific disgust for your people--- "jokingly" offers to date her.

Minority right-wingers, not even once
