Serious, i'm trying to find video.
I don't recall Fitch even dropping anybody in the UFC.I'd rather just be KO'd than worked for 15 mins lol
Fitch was a heavy handed guy though, hit like a heavyweight.

Edit: I guess he had a tko over Alves... via upkick...
I've opened a can of worms now lol
I remember the last thread it got brought up in and everyone was in disbelief <45>

Are you certain it was UFC? Only one I see on his wiki record is Alves.he had a tko early in his UFC career against a bjj guy.....cant remember the name though.....
Yeah but it's still hilarious that he had some serious power in his shots and yet in MMA never even hurt anyone with his hands.lol are you talking about him punching through a coffin or w/e on mythbusters??
Dude.
They didn’t test any other fighters to compare to
He did not hit like a HW
He was tested on mythbusters, iircIt's all good. At first I thought you were trolling, but he might have tested high for punching power. My only rebuttal is his striking in fights.
I mean I wouldn’t want to take a punch from the guyYeah but it's still hilarious that he had some serious power in his shots and yet in MMA never even hurt anyone with his hands.
You can have guys in fits on here with this info.
And I think it was testing how much power he could hit with inside of a coffin. Like a one inch punch or whatever.Yeah but it's still hilarious that he had some serious power in his shots and yet in MMA never even hurt anyone with his hands.

Jon Fitch appeared on the November 5, 2008, episode of MythBusters, "Coffin Punch". The MythBusters were attempting to determine if someone could punch their way out of a coffin. For his part, Jon Fitch laid on his back and punched up into a sensor, attached to a punching bag that was a few inches above Fitch, allowing his arm only three inches of travel before contact with the sensor. The sensor read that the power behind Fitch's punch was just under 1,500 pounds of force (6672 N).[53][54]
Is 1500 lbs close to the Ford Escort?
