The bottom line: This bout comes down to whether or not Jones has the seasoning to keep a veteran like Bonnar from imposing his will, and it’s doubtful he’s ready to turn that trick quite yet. The early going should be fun, as Bonnar can be a slow starter, but his sturdy chin will carry him through. Once Jones starts overcommitting on his strikes, look for Bonnar to take advantage and drag his quarry to the floor. From there, it won’t be long before Jones finds himself struggling to remember escapes in between taking fists to the face.

and i light of future findings, how juiced was jones?

such a waste of talent with jon.... did it all to him self!!

Bonnar would've won if it was a 5 round fight, he took the third easily and Jones was gassing.

"not ready to turn that trick" ? wtf. Mother fuckers talking about pimping. How is that in any way related

Probably the most amount of incredible highlights there have been in a single dominant win that didn't end in a finish.

One of the worst breakdowns ive ever seen.

Nah, context is everything. Jones had only been training for 6months at this point and was the underdog going into the fight. The jones that fought gusamo would have lost to Bonnar but no one had any idea just how quick jones would improve between fights. This was the true coming out party for the guy who everyone knew as “the kid who learned how to fight from YouTube” . That being said, I don’t know why they thought Bonnars best move would be offensive wrestling. dude was never known for that shit .

You wanna see a bad breakdown read mma mania (maybe it was junkies ) breakdown of Anderson Silva vs James Irvin at 205.

He went to decision with Bonnar lol

He had been training for like a year .... don’t think he was at Jackson’s until the Jake o Brian fight. Mma fans have no context for old fights anymore but comment like they’re experts . Pathetic
