LUKE CAGE Official Logo and Teaser Trailer; Premieres Sept. 30 on Netflix

When fans wrap up watching the second season of Daredevil, they'll be treated to a new look at the next Marvel property coming to Netflix: Luke Cage. In the sneak peek, which is Netflix's version of a post-credits scene, Luke Cage is seen in a gym surrounded by armed assailants.

Luke enters the gym and calmly stares down the gunmen. He tells them, "You must not have heard about me." The men open fire and Luke is not injured but his clothes are damaged, which he's "about sick" of, so he opens up a can of whoop-ass on the men. Then the new Luke Cage logo graces our screens. Luke Cage premieres September 30. Daredevil's second season is available now.

Sonia Braga to Play Claire Temple's Mother in LUKE CAGE

Claire Temple's mother is coming to Marvel's Luke Cage. Emmy and three-time Golden Globe nominee Sonia Braga (Kiss of the Spider Woman, Moon Over Parador, Brothers & Sisters) has joined the series as Soledad Temple. Fans previously met her daughter, Claire (Rosario Dawson), in Marvel’s Daredevil.

Braga became a household name in her native Brazil in 1975 when she starred in the telenovela Gabriela. 10 years later, she earned international acclaim for her role in Kiss of the Spider Woman, for which she received her first Golden Globe nomination and kicked off her English-speaking career. She would go on to star in Moon Over Parador and The Burning Season, where she garnered two more Golden Globe nominations and an Emmy nomination. Recently, she’s been seen in Alias and Royal Pains.

"A character as strong as Claire needs an equally powerful mother, and with Sonia we found the perfect actress to deliver the stellar performance we needed," said Executive Producer/Head of Marvel Television, Jeph Loeb. "In Marvel’s Luke Cage, fans will now get a chance to see where Claire got the fire we love her for."

"Sonia Braga? Rosario Dawson? 'Nuff said. I'm tuning in," said Executive Producer and Showrunner Cheo Hodari Coker. "When it came to finding someone who was both formidable yet possessed a light touch, Sonia was the perfect choice and has been a Godsend."

Mike Colter Reveals Where and When LUKE CAGE Takes Place

During an interview with ComicBook.com for Jessica Jones at New York Comic Con, Mike Colter spent most of his time talking about approaching the role of Luke Cage on this series, but he did also drop some new tidbits about Luke Cage, the next series in development for Netflix and Marvel, and the third of the four Defenders series.

"I can tell you what they’ve allowed me to, which is basically, Luke Cage will take place a few months after Jessica Jones," Colter said. "So in real time, if you watch Jessica Jones, you’ll find [at the end] Luke Cage uptown in Harlem, working, trying to make ends meet. So I can say you’ll find him uptown in Harlem, and in a completely different world from Hell’s Kitchen. Luke Cage really hasn’t figured out what he’s doing. He’s tending bar, he’s bouncing around. And for good reason, he’s a fugitive, he has some skeletons in his closet

"He’s trying to basically stay off the radar. The people he hangs around with, though, are in need. Ultimately, he’d rather be alone, but with the way he’s equipped he does step up. That’s what it’s about, it’s about finding that inner feeling to make you want to take action. Sometimes we just sit around, and sit on our hands and don’t do anything because it’s like 'hey, that’s not my problem.' You can’t do that when you’re a superhero. You have these gifts, now use them."

Marvel Confirms LUKE CAGE Castings; New Character Details Revealed

Marvel’s Luke Cage has added four important characters with Misty Knight, Shades, Rafael Scarfe and Claire Temple. The series will be streaming everywhere Netflix is available in 2016.

Simone Missick (Ray Donovan) has joined the cast to play popular character Misty Knight, a Harlem police detective who is determined to learn the truth about Luke Cage. “We know fans have waited years to see Misty Knight brought to life, so we had to find the right actress,” said Executive Producer/Marvel's Head of TV Jeph Loeb. “Simone blew us away with her performance as the strong-willed cop on a mission.”

Theo Rossi (Sons of Anarchy) has joined the cast as Shades, a ruthless criminal with ties to Cage’s mysterious past. "Theo Rossi is a swiss army knife--no matter what you bring to him, he has a tool for it--and he’s playfully unpredictable,” said series Executive Producer and Showrunner Cheo Hodari Coker. “His Shades will be someone you hate to love.”

Frank Whaley (Ray Donovan) has been cast as Rafael Scarfe, a hard-nosed NYPD detective who partners with Misty Knight in their Luke Cage investigation. “Frank Whaley has a wiry intensity that he’s imbued in Det. Rafael Scarfe,” said Coker. “He’s a great counterpart to Misty, and a wonderful actor.”

Actress Rosario Dawson will reprise her role from Marvel’s Daredevil as nurse Claire Temple. Her blossoming friendship with Luke Cage will have a major impact on both characters’ lives. “We are thrilled to have Rosario in another one of our television series,” said Loeb. “Her performance as Claire Temple in Marvel’s Daredevil was astonishing and we can’t wait to see her shine in Marvel’s Luke Cage.”

Alfre Woodard to Play a Harlem Politician in LUKE CAGE Series

Marvel’s Luke Cage steps into the world of Harlem politics with the spectacular addition of Alfre Woodard (12 Years a Slave, Annabelle). The series premieres in 2016 everywhere that Netflix is available. Throughout her storied career, Woodard has earned four Primetime Emmy Awards, a Golden Globe Award, and been nominated for an Academy Award.

Woodard will play Mariah Dillard, a local Harlem politician--and cousin to recently announced Cornell “Cottonmouth” Stokes (Mahershala Ali)--who is looking to bring a new era of change to the streets she grew up on. Her personal life and professional career are thrown into turmoil by both Harlem's newest hero Luke Cage as well as her cousin Cottonmouth's nefarious acts.

“Alfre has an incredible, unique, and intimidating presence on screen that makes her perfect as a leader of the Harlem community,” said Executive Producer/Head of Marvel Television, Jeph Loeb. “We couldn’t be more excited that an actress as celebrated and talented as Alfre has decided to join us on this adventure.”

Frank Whaley Joins Netflix's LUKE CAGE as Detective Scarfe

Deadline has learned that Frank Whaley has joined the cast of Netflix's Marvel series Luke Cage. He will play the recurring role of Detective Scarfe, a hard-nosed detective, in the third series in Marvel's four-series package for Netflix.

Detective Scarfe has a storied history in the comic books, serving as a close ally to characters like Luke, Iron Fist, and Misty Knight. Scarfe took a surprising villainous turn during the events of Shadowland, so it could be that he's either an ally or enemy to Luke Cage.

Mike Colter stars as Luke Cage, a wrongly accused man who, granted super strength by a sabotaged experiment, escapes prison to become a superhero for hire. Alfre Woodard, Simone Missick and Theo Rossi co-star, with Rosario Dawson reprising her role from Daredevil.

Whaley recently wrapped production on the ABC miniseries Madoff, opposite Richard Dreyfuss. He can also be seen in the upcoming features, Paramount's Monster Trucks and indie comedy The Outskirts. Whaley's fourth feature as writer/director, Like Sunday, Like Rain, was released earlier this year.

Mahershala Ali Joins LUKE CAGE Netflix Series as Cottonmouth

Marvel's Luke Cage has found its Cornell "Cottonmouth" Stokes with the casting of Mahershala Ali (House of Cards, The Hunger Games: Mockingjay Parts 1 and 2). The series will premiere in 2016 everywhere that Netflix is available. Stokes, a Harlem nightclub owner, will become an unexpected foe in Luke's life when Stokes' criminal activities threaten Luke's world.

In the comic books, Cottonmouth was a drug lord whose drugs were used to frame Luke Cage (as his original name, Carl Lucas). He has appeared on and off, including in the storylines Shadowland (which focused heavily on Daredevil and the other "street-level" heroes involved in the Netflix series) and Spider-Island. He's not to be confused with the other Cottonmouth from the Marvel Universe, who dresses up like a snake as part of the Serpent Society.

"Mahershala is an actor of extraordinary range and gravitas. As Cottonmouth he will really let loose," said Executive Producer/Head of Marvel Television, Jeph Loeb. "Luke Cage won't know what hit him."

It was previously announced that Mike Colter (Marvel's Jessica Jones, The Good Wife) will play the charismatic lead character, Luke Cage, in the series. Cheo Hodari Coker (SouthLAnd, Ray Donovan) will write the series' first two episodes in addition to serving as showrunner and Executive Producer. Marvel's Luke Cage is scheduled to premiere in 2016 on Netflix.

Simone Missick Cast as Misty Knight in Marvel's LUKE CAGE

Netflix's Marvel series Luke Cage has rounded out its core cast. Deadline is reporting that Simone Missick has landed the younger female lead opposite Mike Colter, Alfre Woodard and Theo Rossi in the third series in Marvel's four-series package for Netflix.

Missick will play what is listed on the breakdown as Missy, a woman with a strong sense of justice. Deadline hears the actual character is Marvel's Misty Knight, a former NYPD officer who gets a new bionic arm by Tony Stark after losing hers in the line of duty. She eventually launches a detective agency, helping Cage.

In Luke Cage, Colter plays Cage, a wrongly accused man who, colter cagegranted superstrength by a sabotaged experiment, escapes prison to become a superhero for hire. Rossi and Woodard would be playing enemies to Cage - Shades aka Alvarez and Black Mariah. Additionally, Rosario Dawson will reprise her role as Claire Temple from Netflix's Daredevil and Jessica Jones.

SONS OF ANARCHY Actor Theo Rossi Joins LUKE CAGE Series

Netflix's Marvel series Luke Cage has added two more key players. Deadline reports that Sons of Anarchy standout Theo Rossi has been cast as a regular opposite Mike Colter and Alfre Woodard in the third series from Marvel's four-series package for Netflix.

Additionally, Deadline reports that Rosario Dawson will reprise her Daredevil role as Claire Temple in Luke Cage. That makes sense since in the comic books, Claire is a romantic interest of Luke Cage. First introduced on Daredevil, Dawson's Claire also is set to appear in the second Marvel series, Jessica Jones - where Colter's Cage also will make his debut - before moving to Luke Cage.

Like most comic book adaptations, the breakdown for Luke Cage features fake character names. Deadline hears Rossi was cast to play the "Sonny" role, described as relentless and menacing, smooth and manipulative, street smart and controlling. Deadline hears that in fact Rossi would be playing Luke Cage's enemy Shades aka Alvarez, a well known criminal.

In Luke Cage, Colter plays Cage, a wrongly accused man who, granted superstrength by a sabotaged experiment, escapes prison to become a superhero for hire. As we previously reported, Woodard is expected to play a version of Marvel villain Black Mariah, a nemesis to Luke Cage as well as Iron Fist.

Alfre Woodard Joins LUKE CAGE Netflix Series as a Key Villain

Marvel's Netflix drama Luke Cage has enlisted Alfre Woodard. The State of Affairs alum is near a deal to board the drama starring Mike Colter as the hero in the title, The Hollywood Reporter has confirmed. In Luke Cage, Woodard will play a lead character known as Minetta, a powerful woman in local politics who impacts his life. She may be a version of villain Black Mariah, a nemesis to Cage and Iron Fist. In the comics, she is a professional criminal and a drug dealer.

Cage will be introduced in Jessica Jones, the second of four Marvel series for Netflix, before being spun off into his own show. During the course of an investigation in New York, private investigator Jessica Jones (Krysten Ritter) encounters the enigmatic Luke Cage — a man whose past has secrets that will dramatically alter Jessica herself in ways she could never have imagined.

Cheo Hodari Coker Is the Showrunner for Netflix's LUKE CAGE

Cheo Hodari Coker will serve as showrunner for the Marvel/Netflix series, which is set to premiere in 2016. He will also pen the series' first two episodes, Marvel.com announced Tuesday. Daredevil premieres April 10, and Jessica Jones is set to debut later this year.

Luke Cage stars The Good Wife and The Following alum Mike Colter as the superhero, who will first make his debut in a recurring role opposite Krysten Ritter in Jessica Jones - the second of four Marvel dramas Netflix picked up straight to series in November 2013. Colter will eventually team up for the miniseries The Defenders with Daredevil's Charlie Cox, Ritter and the uncast star of Iron Fist.

Coker recently served as co-executive producer on season two of Showtime's Ray Donovan. His credits also include serving as a supervising producer on the fourth season of SouthLAnd. He earned a screenwriting credit for the 2009 feature Notorious.

Mike Colter, Lance Gross and Cleo Anthony Up for LUKE CAGE

Deadline reports that the two names mentioned as being in consideration for the male lead Luke Cage: Lance Gross (Crisis), Mike Colter (The Good Wife, The Following) and Cleo Anthony (Transparent). Cage is designed to appear in 6-7 episodes of Jessica Jones and then topline his own series, the fourth in the Netflix-Marvel package that includes Daredevil, starring Charlie Cox, Jessica Jones, Iron Fist and Luke Cage. The characters from the four shows band together for a miniseries to close out the storylines.

Deadline also hears Marvel is assembling a field of actresses invited to test for the lead of the company's straight-to-series Jessica Jones drama for Netflix. The list includes Krysten Ritter (Don't Trust The B-, Breaking Bad), Alexandra Daddario (True Detective, Percy Jackson films), Teresa Palmer (I Am Number Four, Warm Bodies) and Jessica De Gouw (Arrow). All fall within the age range of 25-33 listed on the breakdowns for the role.

Spearheaded by Melissa Rosenberg, the 13-episode drama - the second in a four-series Netflix-Marvel deal - centers on Jessica Jones, a superhero suffering with post-traumatic stress disorder, which leads to her hanging up her costume and opening her own detective agency, where she ends up helping people and assisting other superheroes.

Jamie Foxx Was Once Approached to Star in LUKE CAGE Movie

Speaking to IGN, The Amazing Spider-Man 2 star Jamie Foxx reveals that the villainous Electro isn't the first comic book role that he was ever up for. According to Foxx, he was once nearly cast as Marvel's Luke Cage. "I was actually approached for Luke Cage back in the day," Foxx says, "but it didn't work out at the time. You know, with these types of movies, your visibility has to be at a certain range. We did Django, which allowed my visibility to go up a little bit, and we got the call about The Amazing Spider-Man 2."

Foxx doesn't specify just how long ago it was that he was approached about playing Luke Cage, besides implying that this was before he appeared in Django Unchained. Django Unchained was released in 2012, well before the 2013 announcement that Marvel would be working with Netflix to produce a Luke Cage television series. Before the rights reverted back to Marvel Studios, John Singleton was on board to direct a Luke Cage movie at Colombia Pictures, and it is possible Foxx may have been the actor they wanted for the role.

Terry Crews Reiterates His Desire to Play LUKE CAGE for the Netflix Series

While it appears as if Luke Cage is no longer heading to the big screen, the fan-favorite character will soon be joining Daredevil on Netflix in his own 12-episode series on the online streaming service. Talking to IGN Movies, The Expendables 3 star reiterated his desire to still play the former Power Man if the opportunity arises. "I would love to do Luke Cage. I heard they finally green-lit that whole thing and I would love to do something like that." As for whether or not he had any other superhero roles in kind, he added:

"I have so many. I have to go back to Luke Cage just because he was our Superman. There were no African-American superheroes out there. He was the first. He was the man. He was the one. The only example we could look at. I remember then seeing Falcon and a couple of others. Even in the D.C. Universe there was Cyborg. But Luke Cage was the original one where you said 'This is me. This is my guy. This is the character.' So he's the equivalent to Superman for me. But I have plenty. Second to Luke Cage would probably be The Hulk. The Hulk was amazing."

Terry Crews Changes His Mind, Now Wants to Play LUKE CAGE

With production beginning soon on Marvel's Netflix series, many have started to wonder who will land the coveted roles. In the past, fans have been vocal about wanting Terry Crews to play Luke Cage. Collider spoke with the actor and asked about the possibility of taking on the role. While Crews previously took himself out of the running for the role since it wasn't actually moving forward, now that it is, he definitely sounded a lot more interested despite the fact that he's under contract for Fox's Brooklyn Nine-Nine, saying "anything can happen" and "I'm game."

"Anything can happen. All I know is scheduling and all that stuff... anything can happen. I'm open to all kinds of things, but who knows? Actually I took myself out of the Luke Cage running a while back, just because it was people trying to put people against each other. [It was] Idris vs. Michael Jai and I'm like, 'Wait a minute, this is not even greenlit! Can we talk to Marvel? Why are you talking to me? Don't put me against my homeboy for a movie that's not existing.' I said, 'Take me out!'"

"I heard [it's greenlit] but I haven't gotten any calls. I've been hearing stuff like, 'oh you're too old,' and I'm like, 'Man do my workout 20 years ago and we'll talk about who's too old (laughs).' Like I said, anything can happen, I never rule anything out. I'm game. There are no rules. What's up, Marvel? I'm right here, baby. I ain't goin nowhere. You know where I live!"

Terry Crews Says He Is Not Interested in Playing LUKE CAGE Anymore

Terry Crews has a message to fans: Stop fan-casting him as Luke Cage in the movie in your head; it isn't going to happen. In a new interview promoting Cloudy With a Chance of Meatballs 2, the Expendables star said he's not interested in playing Power Man... although he's not quite sure why Marvel hasn't started moving a project like that forward.

"I'm trying to take myself outta that running because everybody's like, 'I want to play this superhero character, that superhero character'. I'd rather make up my own. Make a brand new one, you know. Blade was basically a failed character. That comic book didn't do very well....I think everybody's is forcing this Power Man, Luke Cage thing. Man, it's obvious, Marvel, for some reason, is not getting down with it. He's being ignored. Hey man, he was probably in the Avengers. What can I say? You can't force it on him. The market's going to tell you what's going on. So apparently they felt like, 'we don't really have to.' I know they're bringing the Falcon in on one of these."

Marvel's DAREDEVIL, IRON FIST, LUKE CAGE and JESSICA JONES TV Series Announced for Netflix

Press Release: The Walt Disney Co. and Netflix Inc. today announced an unprecedented deal for Marvel TV to bring multiple original series of live-action adventures of four of Marvel's most popular characters exclusively to the world's leading Internet TV Network beginning in 2015. This pioneering agreement calls for Marvel to develop four serialized programs leading to a miniseries programming event.

Led by a series focused on "Daredevil," followed by "Jessica Jones," "Iron Fist" and "Luke Cage," the epic will unfold over multiple years of original programming, taking Netflix members deep into the gritty world of heroes and villains of Hell's Kitchen, New York. Netflix has committed to a minimum of four, thirteen episodes series and a culminating Marvel's "The Defenders" mini-series event that reimagines a dream team of self-sacrificing, heroic characters.

Produced by Marvel Television in association with ABC Television Studios, this groundbreaking deal is Marvel's most ambitious foray yet into live-action TV storytelling.

"This deal is unparalleled in its scope and size, and reinforces our commitment to deliver Marvel's brand, content and characters across all platforms of storytelling. Netflix offers an incredible platform for the kind of rich storytelling that is Marvel's specialty," said Alan Fine, President of Marvel Entertainment. "This serialized epic expands the narrative possibilities of on-demand television and gives fans the flexibility to immerse themselves how and when they want in what's sure to be a thrilling and engaging adventure."

"Marvel's movies, such as 'Iron Man' and Marvel's 'The Avengers', are huge favorites on our service around the world. Like Disney, Marvel is a known and loved brand that travels," said Netflix Chief Content Officer Ted Sarandos. "With 'House of Cards' and our other original series, we have pioneered new approaches to storytelling and to global distribution and we're thrilled to be working with Disney and Marvel to take our brand of television to new levels with a creative project of this magnitude."

Quentin Tarantino Once Considered Making a LUKE CAGE Movie

Until Joss Whedon directed Marvel's The Avengers, that kind of director/geek flick pairing existed, for the most part, only in the minds of fanboys. But Whedon isn't the only filmmaker to top comic book movie wish lists: Another popular name that gets tossed around as the perfect superhero helmer is Quentin Tarantino.

The man respects the genre like no other, and he's sure to have a unique spin on a classic set-up. Way back when, Warner Bros. apparently approached Tarantino when they were first considering turning Green Lantern into their next big superhero project. Though the director turned them down, the idea of a Tarantino-directed superhero flick is a hard one for geeks to shake.

As it turns out, he had. Shortly after the success of his first film, Tarantino toyed with the idea of making a film starring one of Marvel's most popular heroes. He even had a leading man in mind.

"After 'Reservoir Dogs,' I had considered doing a 'Luke Cage, Hero for Hire' movie. [Producer] Ed Pressman owned the rights at that time, and we talked about it," he told us. "I talked to Larry Fish [Laurence Fishburne] about being Luke Cage, and he really liked that idea. Then I ended up writing 'Pulp Fiction.' "

Since then, nothing has quite tempted Tarantino back into the realm of comic superheroes, largely because he'd rather make one up himself: "My feeling is if I wanted to do something like that, I'd want to create the superhero myself," he admitted.

Marvel Studios Eyeing Dwayne Johnson to Play LUKE CAGE

A few weeks ago, Marvel Studios president Kevin Feige revealed that they have considered casting Dwayne Johnson in a Marvel movie. Feige says he is a gigantic fan of The Rock and that he would love for Johnson to be part of the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Now the former WWE champ has acknowledged this on Twitter, and of course has a very specific character in mind that he'd like to play:

"Thank U @Marvel President Kevin Feige for the nod. I'll be ready. #RockAsCage #HeroForHire"

While this is obviously all very awesome, Marvel doesn't seem to have any big-screen plans for Luke Cage over the next few years -- unless of course The Rock knows something we don't. But barring Cage, and assuming that both parties will eventually come together as they clearly would like to, who else in the Marvel Comics universe would be a good fit for Johnson to play?

Watch Isaiah Mustafa as Luke Cage in Self-Made Promo Video

The latest actor lobbying for the probably non-existent part for a Luke Cage movie is Isaiah Mustafa, better known to you as the Old Spice Guy. Rumor has it that some form of a Luke Cage movie may actually be in development somewhere, and rumor further has it that Mustafa has been meeting with the people in charge about playing the comic book hero.

The promo video featuring Mustafa as Cage. Odds are it's something he put together on his own, as a way of pitching the studio on his involvement. Josh Hutcherson did something similar back when he was still a contender to play the new Spider-Man. Sometimes this sort of thing actually works.

[Comments: Mustafa is too lean for Cage, he should bulk up more if he gets the role. Ideally I would prefer Idiris Elba as Luke Cage but since he's now Heimdall in Thor, my second choice would be Michael Jai White.]

Oddly enough, he as actually been Luke Cage already. There was, seemingly, a series of shorts done only called "Marvel: What the #^$@," with Mustafa playing the role of Luke Cage. Matt Sera did the voice for wolverine...

Thought the video was well done. The banner is cool to. I agree though, he would have to bulk up a bit for the role.

From what I understood, Marvel was considering making a short for Luke Cage that would play before one of their upcoming releases. They were going to test the waters in this manner, to see if audiences would even consider buying a ticket for it. If nothing else, they could toss him into another movie as the character and utilize him in that manner.

During a Podcast interview, The A-Team star reveals that he had a meeting with Marvel, and that he would love to play Luke Cage. The Luke Cage stuff comes in about the 21:50 mark. If you don't feel like watching, basically when he is asked about playing Luke Cage he responds with:

"It's funny you should say that, I had a meeting with Marvel.." He then stops himself and wonders aloud if he should have said that. He continues with: "I would love to play Luke Cage, I think I would make a great Luke Cage"

Another LUKE CAGE Self-Promotion Starring Eric Thomas Wilson

Expressing interest in the role around the time his "Old Spice" commercial were big, back in May, Isaiah Mustafa starred as Marvel's power man, Luke Cage, in mysterious trailer preview; somewhat self-promotion. And now, the folks from Movie Web have eyed another teaser, now starring an unknown actor by the name of Eric Thomas Wilson.

With the actual tentative Luke Cage film still in-development, actors Marvel Studios have met with include Tyrese Gibson, Isaiah Mustafa, and most recently revealed, Rampage Jackson. And while there no word on whether Shaft and Boyz N The Hood director John Singleton is still attached to helm, what do you think of Eric Thomas Wilson's take?

Details on JESSICA JONES, CLOAK & DAGGER, MOCKINGBIRD and HULK TV Series

We have already heard some info regarding the upcoming Marvel TV projects, but now Marvel's Head of Television Jeph Loeb, shared some brand new details at San Diego Comic Con for Hulk, Cloak and Dagger and Jessica Jones series that will feature Luke Cage and Carol Danvers.

The first show concept is AKA Jessica Jones at ABC, based on Brian Michael Bendis and Michael Gaydos' Alias, which Loeb described as a story about a failed superhero. "We obviously can't call it 'Alias,' thank you JJ Abrams." Loeb said the show would feature Carol Danvers and Luke Cage.

Hulk is coming back to TV, courtesy of ABC. "This is a brand-new take on the Hulk," said Loeb. "It will focus on the early days of the Hulk, when people didn't know about his terrifying secret and enormous powers." The series will be focused on the love story between Bruce Banner and Betty Ross, and how the Hulk will bring them together and tear them apart.

Cloak and Dagger for ABC Family was announced next, a story about "two teenagers who discover each other and find their powers both complement and complicate their lives." The series will be set in post-Katrina New Orleans.

Mockingbird is also in development for ABC Family, depicting Bobby Morse as "a Peter Parker Nerd" who is recruited by a super-spy organization in the Marvel Universe. This will presumably be SHIELD, just as it is in the comics. After that, her life changes. She's a student by day and learning to be a secret agent at night. According to Loeb, "We like to refer to this one as Alias meets Felicity."
