Used to see items like this when I competed, but they were always cost prohibitive.

$150 for this one, albeit seems to be geared towards pistols. There are video reviews but they all looked to be produced by asinine hipster types so:

I've tried it, it's pretty cool. A friend bought it on dvor for $100.

Does it have a benefit live fire?

I can see the use dry firing, but live you have a target, recoil and all the other benefits.

It shows your movement pre, during & post shot. Shows what you are doing right/wrong and offers tips to help correct. The app is live so you can shoot and then look or do a string of shots then review. I thought it was pretty good.
