Mat Wars Season 2 Episode 7: No Gi Invitational

On Guard BJJ's Matt Kwan is the star of the season. In this episode, Kwan takes to the Richmond Oval to compete at the CBJJF B.C. Provincial Open Championship. Kwan was invited to participate in the 16-man lightweight no-gi invitational. In the opening round, Kwan took on Zuma Martial Arts' Walter Barrios. His quarter-final match-up was against Robert Wolfe from Ribeiro Jiu-JItsu. In the semi-finals, Kwan had a very tough match against Pacific Top Teams Clint Cooper. And in the finals, purple belt Marc Lim from Alliance Vancouver took on the dangerous On Guard BJJ head coach.
