Jarrod Wyatt was an MMA fighter from northern California and it was unlikely he was ever going to become a success but he will forever be remembered for the gruesome murder of his sparring partner.

Wyatt was on hallucinogenic drugs with sparring partner Taylor Powell, when they thought they were in a fight between good and evil. According to court documents, Wyatt removed Powell's heart, tongue and the skin of his face while he was still alive.

Tank Abbott and Paul Herrera jumped Pat Smith after a brief altercation in an elevator.

Apparently Tank sucker punched Smith in the back of the head knocking him out and Herrera jumped on the unconscious man and continued to beat him resulting in an ambulance ride.

Also the infamous Tito/Murray/Chuck brawl everyone knows about.

September 24 2001

Less than 2 weeks after the september 11 attacks Don Frye took on Gilbert Yvel.
Gilbert eye gouged Frye when frye tried to take him down and you can see visible redness in his eyes. Something so blatant should honestly be a two point deduction in my book if not an outright disqualification.

Gilbert then Use the ropes to prevent a takedown the 2nd time, and was given another yellow card. Frye wound up taking him down off a flying knee, and when they repositioned the fighters, gilbert refused to lie down to get into the position and tried to convince Frye to stand and bang, until finally Yvel gave up and went back to the position. He used the ropes to prevent another takedown and was given a final 3rd card,a red card, which is a dq. Its the only time i believe in pride history where someone recieved three yellow cards and was disqualified. Gilbert grabbed the mic and complained about the cards. Don tried to calm him down, but its like Yvel wasnt listening.Clearly the guy had some serious anger problems and impulse control. Hed later become known for knocking a ref out in Finland.

Hiromitsu Kanehara’s first 3 fights in Pride were against Wanderlei Silva, Mirko Crocop, and Alistair Overeem. He lost all 3, but actually took Crocop to a decision...

Bas Rutten was celebrating his birthday and was real drunk and telling Rampage jackson about his old fights and was apparently too animated in showing how he had punched someone and accidentally hit rampage in the face. Bas said he swore that should have knocked him out,but rampage showed no visible sign he even felt the punch and was just waiting for bas to continue the story.

Bas then said that he had no more doubt about Page´s chin...

Michiyoshi Ohara was another of a long line of japanese pro wrestlers who tried their hand at MMA,but Ohara basically didnt come to fight at all,and would avoid any attempts to engage whatsoever. His two fights, against Kevin Randleman and Renzo Gracie, were some of the worst "fights" ever seen, and thankfully he was never used again.

In 1997 Renzo Gracie fought Eugenio Tadeau. Bjj vs Luta Livre was still a major rivalry in Brazil so all eyes were on this fight since they were major representatives of their respective art. About 15 minutes into the grueling fight the crowd started swarming the cage. One of Tadeau's fans jumped the cage and punched Renzo in the face. Renzo punched him back and all hell broke loose as the crowd broke into a massive brawl including chairs flying WWE style and even gun shots going off. The fight was stopped and ruled a no contest and the chaos resulted in a 10 year ban on MMA events in Rio De Janeiro.
Quite controversial... Henzo was a lil bit fadin´, and a 'clown' close to the Gracies decided to turn off the lights...

Them Luta Livre only got some 200 tickets, against thousands of BJJs... Riot everywhere...

also this fight!

lol @ LHW young Fedor

Rampage Jackson felt that he was unfairly targeted for yellow cards. First an accidental groin shot to Daijiro Matsui, for which he was disqualified and which led to someone taping a yellow card to his locker. Then unfairly against Kevin Randleman as well, so when he fought his next fight, during the instructions,Rampage just gave the referee a yellow card.
