Most underrated UFC Fight Cards of all time?

Was just thinking about the first UFC fight for the troops card.

Universally bashed leading up to it.

Ended up being a blast filled with blood, Ko's and nasty injuries.

AKA....fun.

Definitely the best "free card." RIP Corey Hill.

Don't forget about Maestro vs. Reyes - that was one good night of fights! :)

that fight was totally awesome, and it was the first fight of the night. just kind of figured most sherbros don't recognize those names. but, hell yeah, that fight was rad.

Bisping vs Rockhold 1 was a sick card too. I think every fight ended in a finish too.

yep. every fight ended in a finish. think it has the record for least amount of cage time for an entire UFC event. just try to forget that one because China's Jumabieke Tuerxun (now competing for PFL) got KTFO by Brimmage.

TJ beating Barao was an absolutely perfect performance and maybe the best bantamweight performance in UFC history. but what else was on that card? DC destroying Hendo. Jamie Varner breaking his ankle to open the main card?
Actually, Lawler kneeing Ellenberger was a sweet finish, not to mention Ferguson murking Kikuno, Mitch Clarke choking Big Al unconscious, and the arrival of the Leech. War China! (but not a trade war)

UFC on Fox 2 thru 5 or 6 were the best-least-watched cards. maybe not ever. but after UFC on Fox 1 they basically quit all marketing until they felt more confident with the product. the general public had no idea, and they missed some tremendous fights.

meh. but it was on 4/20!

Meh?

Yoel Romero flying knee KO.

Njokuani tko.

TJ Dillashaw headkick KO.

Masvidal vs Means go to war.

Joe B gets a body shot tko.

Jury gets a brutal KO.

Carmont vs Larkins have a really competitive, entertaining fight.

Mendes gets a 1st round KO.

Matt Brown runs through Mein like hot knife through butter.

Thompson headkicks Nate and is the first to finish him via strikes.

Cormier makes his UFC debut and beats up Mir.

And one of the few fights on this card that made it to decision was on of the FOTY candidates as Benson vs Gilbert go to absolute war.

There are like 10 former future or current world champions or world title challengers on that card. And it had a high finishing rate as a card overall. What is so meh about it?

man, you love that card. perhaps soured on this one because always thought Melendez beat Bendo. But yes, the whole Strikeforce vs. UFC angle was cool. And that Thompson head kick on Nate ... you're right, that was awesome.
also, did Nick throw in the towel during Nate's fight?

Louis Smolka knocked out that dude with a side kick. SWEET CHIN MUSIC

People lost interest in a UFC Berlin Fight Pass event when the Gus-Texeira main event fell apart but the event was still pretty solid. JJ brutalized Jessica Penne in the new main.

116 doesn’t get enough love imo

Lesnar-Carwin, Aliyama-Leben, Bonnar-Sosynzski or however you spell his last name

It was an action packed card with plenty of names amongst the MMA community that doesn't get talked about ever.

Questionable decisions sometimes draw away from how good of a fight it was. Benson vs Gil, GSP vs Hendricks, Frankie vs Benson, etc. Btw I also believe Gil won.

Yes someone in Nates corner threw in the towel last second, shortly after John McCarthy went on record saying in MMA you cannot throw in the towel mid-fight, only between rounds.

Was Looking at UFC on Fox: dos Santos vs. Miocic as far a pure talent.

You had:
Miocic future HW champion
JDS former HW champ, future HW challenger
RDA future LW Champ
Nate Diaz, future "just being Nate Diaz"
Overeem future HW champ
JOANNA JEDRZEJCZYK won Strawweight Belt
John Moraga future Flyweight Challenger
Cejudo future Flyweight Challenger

That's a lot of champs and challengers for a free card!
