Movies that would no longer be "rotten" based on movies getting worse, and just not being bad.

I'll start with one. 'Cowboys and aliens,' starring Daniel Craig. This movie was knocked down because Harrison Ford wasn't great in it.. But people fail to accept that he was 40 in like 1981. He BECAME popular at close to 40. Anyways, this is not a "bad movie" by today's standards. It's at like 46% on RT, or lower. Deserves better. Could have used a better name, I suppose.

I can think of a few more movies lower the 50% on RT, that are significantly better than crap critics pretend to like these days, but I'll let others come up with some.

I think the karate kid II as well.

Which of these, if it came out today, would be rated the highest?

By today's shitbird critics? Well, I think Last Action Hero was ahead of its time and people weren't ready for it. Now with all the meta deconstruction self-parody floating around all over the place, it wouldn't go over people's heads. I think it would gain the most be being released in the future.

Eh, I dunno, I watched Cowboys and Aliens about two months ago in an attempt to redeem it and it was still not that good. It tried so hard, and it was way worse than the sum of its parts.

I can get behind this. They would love how clever and self-aware it was.

Rambo 4 at 37%? WTF! That movie was everything a Rambo movie should be and a great comeback for the series. Fuck the critics.
