The big cryptocurrency crash is so close. I can taste it. Even Buffett is pontificating on it.

Otherwise, not sure what else he can do. If it's not AMD, in that price range, one would hope it would have been the GTX 1060 6GB (any manufacturer would do).

MSI Armor 1060 6gb for $280 AR from Newegg. It's a lower end cooler so don't expect it overclock well, it's fine for stock though.

Because a fool and his money are soon parted, I have purchased another 4k tv/monitor. My home office now has a total of 9 monitors - my girlfriend said she feels scared when she is in the room because it feels like she is in some sort of war room.

In my defense, the new monitor is a cheap 43" Westinghouse I picked up at an auction for $150. It has surprisingly solid specs - IPS panel, 4k@60hz, and 16ms response time at 4k. It doesn't do 4:4:4 Chroma, but at that price, I can't complain.

Honestly, unless you are a competitive gamer, or absolutely need GSYNC/FreeSYNC, it is a way better value to pick up a 4k tv as a monitor. I use an LGUJ7700 as my main monitor, and I honestly can't tell the difference when comparing it to my Acer Predator when it comes to input lag. The main difference is that one cost me $699 for a 49" model, and the other cost $1200.

I know alot of people will disagree, but I don't see myself forking out 1K for a gaming monitor ever again.

You can still find deals for somewhat decent prices but you have to be on the ball.

Someone locally is selling a Zotac Amp for $250 used (only 2 months and he has the receipt and everything as proof). I'd jump on it if you could SLI 1060s.

This has been a crazy generation, but it has been great for me. I've turned a profit on a RX480, 1050ti, and a G4560/h110 mobo combo. I'm using a i5-7400/H110/8GB in my htpc and I'm tempted to sell that because I could turn a profit on that as well.

Not for nothing, but I call about a deal like that today on Craigslist. A Zotac Mini 1070 listed at $250. Guy said it was sold but said he should have more in a couple days. I thoughts that was strange.

So I'm looking into getting a new monitor. I'd like something that is 144hz or better. Is the jump from 1080p to 1440p pretty significant? Because the price sure is.

    Is this still on?

*Edit* Looks like there is still an offer for 1-year.

I keep hearing this. They are targeting high-end GPU´s etc.

Please explain what this mining is.

On an auction site one was putting a mining machine for sale.

I am totally in the dark here.

I don't know much about it either. There are dudes on Craigslist selling mining rigs for thousands of dollars though with upwards of 10-12 video cards.
