Thought this thread was for Nick Mullens

Idk if the Browns job is as good as some are saying. There are worse spots but you are getting a GM that controls everything on the roster and arguably the worst owner in the league

GM is supposed to control the roster, and hes done a fantastic job aquiring talent recently.

Cant think of a young roster more appealing. Youve got what look like homeruns hits with rookies at QB, RB, CB, and a potentially elite franchise pass rusher.

Bruce Arians would say that you are a fucking casual

Yes, but a lot of big name coaches want control. Even a guy like Adam Gase got it in his contract IIRC. Team is much better off with a GM-HC that work in harmony IMO. Just saying the top guys probably want more power - like 20% of the league HCs have final say I would guess

It’s fun, FatCarth will end up there and god knows he never gets into it with his GM or owner over personnel decisions

Denver should be a pretty good HC destination. Tons of cap space, still a good defense to build around, a very talented crop of second year players.

Nothing to say they wont get some say in Cleveland. Theyre looking like geniuses to not have given Hue Jackson anymore control.

True enough - I was speculating based on the reason Dorsey got fired in KC. Just making decisions on his own - "Bum player signs big extension to the surprise of the rest of the front office / coaching staff "

Hue Jack City LOOMS.

Hope that hipster Arians brotherhood goes to Cleveland.

McCarthy to Denver next year.

Don’t forget you have to live in a shithole flyover state.

Not that hard to accomplish when you have the number 1 pick every year. Let’s see what Dorsey will do now. He’ll probably end up hiring some can OC and end up signing some bum to a huge deal
