No no usada

Jones snorts yak and drinks hour before to test himself and still beats his competition.

Diaz bros can smoke hour before and compete with the best

N yet some “juicers” still end up losing while on it, so what’s your point?

You think some couch potato can just do ped n become ufc champ?

Dude...don't be so obtuse.

Athletes wouldn't risk their career or their legacy to use PEDs if they didn't have a huge impact.

just like no one "makes" cyclists take PEDs, yet the top guys were ALL cheating when you look back to the Armstrong era and how many of the top 20 in any given Tour were eventually busted or incriminated.

that essentially sends a message to kids, and anyone thinking of getting into MMA, that PED use is a *prerequisite* in order to compete at a high level.

there are plenty of options for juicers in MMA...they can fuck off to Rizin or any of the overseas orgs with similarly shady or non-existent testing.

If your career choice is being a pro mma fighter, then ped use is definitely not your no.1 health concern

Read before reposted it. Doesn't mean your original question wasnt pretty dumb.
Edit: it shows that I liked his post.
Then don't say he wasn't talking about just steroids . Is specifically says ciggaretts should be illegal. I guess your just an idiot and don't understand what you read

Yeah, like recover quicker n give them motivation to keep training

Cause you know getting punched in the face daily, while training like s madman isn’t that easy.

They’re already in a business where their health is on hand line, so why preventvthem from taking stuff that’s gonna help their performance?

If PEDs weren't horribly bad for a person, in the long run, we'd all be on them. The reason why they're banned and the reason why we're not all on them, is because they're like cigarettes. They cause severe health problems and we don't want to promote devastating health risks for short term glory...ie: we don't want kids messing with their health to get a competitive edge in sports.

Care to explain how and provide legitimate proof?

that is such flawed logic.

just because MMA is inherently dangerous, it does not follow that everyone competing in it gives zero fucks about their long-term health. Just because you know you will get hit, may suffer injury, etc. you don't throw ALL health concerns out the window.

This is evidenced by the change in training methods undertaken by many fighters and trainers, as our knowledge of brain trauma (e.g. CTE) has grown, for example.

Depends how you use them really, Trt in the right use and for the right age category gives a way better standard of life to those who take it, other peds such as ghrp's just encourage your body to produce more or what it already is in growth hormone, this in turn increases collagen etc, anything abused is bad for you though.

Of course...and opioids help many with legit chronic pain live their lives.

Legit use of test, other hormones, steroids, etc. exist. It's the misuse of these things that cause the problems.

So should they ban cigarettes and alcohol also

The American Federal government will not allow for the legal use of PEDs in professional sports any time soon. Regardless of what the fans really want, there will always be a rather large morality hurdle that the politicians will rally behind.

Even the WWE implemented drug testing because of political and public pressure to keep a clean image. They are just an entertainment company, but the pressure to keep PEDs out proved to be too much.

The main reason for this is because of the potential influence on minors to experiment with these drugs, along with the American war on drugs to begin with. The other reason has to do with the negative impact that long-term drug use can have. The WWE has had numerous stories emerge regarding PED use, recreational drug issues, and widespread use and abuse of painkillers and such. The WWE really started to feel a financial impact when various lawsuits, lobbying, and political/public pressure started to mount.

The UFC stalled on this issue for a really long time but eventually had to embrace the USADA when the public and the media pressure increased especially regarding TRT. Vitor was one of the leading names to bring about this change. Instead of managing his use of TRT in a respectable way he tested far over the limit in Nevada basically embarrassing the NSAC. Dan Henderson, on the other hand, appeared to be managing his TRT use quite admirably and didn't test over his exemption limit. Ronda also couldn't stop making comments about Cyborg which brought about a great deal of negative focus from both fans and the media. The UFC had to make a stand with all of this stuff being kicked up by the storm and the USADA was brought in.

As much as some people might like to see PEDs be widely accepted, it will not happen in the near future.
