Of course...and opioids help many with legit chronic pain live their lives.

Legit use of test, other hormones, steroids, etc. exist. It's the misuse of these things that cause the problems.

There's a reason why long term steroid use is prescribed to aids patients, cancer patients etc..

The American Federal government will not allow for the legal use of PEDs in professional sports any time soon. Regardless of what the fans really want, there will always be a rather large morality hurdle that the politicians will rally behind.

Even the WWE implemented drug testing because of political and public pressure to keep a clean image. They are just an entertainment company, but the pressure to keep PEDs out proved to be too much.

The main reason for this is because of the potential influence on minors to experiment with these drugs, along with the American war on drugs to begin with. The other reason has to do with the negative impact that long-term drug use can have. The WWE has had numerous stories emerge regarding PED use, recreational drug issues, and widespread use and abuse of painkillers and such. The WWE really started to feel a financial impact when various lawsuits, lobbying, and political/public pressure started to mount.

The UFC stalled on this issue for a really long time but eventually had to embrace the USADA when the public and the media pressure increased especially regarding TRT. Vitor was one of the leading names to bring about this change. Instead of managing his use of TRT in a respectable way he tested far over the limit in Nevada basically embarrassing the NSAC. Dan Henderson, on the other hand, appeared to be managing his TRT use quite admirably and didn't test over his exemption limit. Ronda also couldn't stop making comments about Cyborg which brought about a great deal of negative focus from both fans and the media. The UFC had to make a stand with all of this stuff being kicked up by the storm and the USADA was brought in.

As much as some people might like to see PEDs be widely accepted, it will not happen in the near future.
Keep thinking that . It will never happen

Vitor vs Rockhold might be my favourite knockout EVER.

Yes it was PED's that (automatically) judged and analyzed the situation live and sensed all the angles and distances required to physically stretch and pull the specific muscles once the body is (automatically) orientated in just the right position all through complete and (automatic) electrical impulse control of all the right brain neural networks in a now (automatic)-robot-slave-like Vitor Belfort.

Fucking PED's.

I am not sure which reality you are living in, but this is how it currently is.

Please join the rest of us here in 2017 so we can have intelligent and relevant conversations.
They may not allow it but it will never stop people from doing it. Their will always be better drugs out there thay can beat the system . People will always look to get the upper hand. It won't ever stop

and cigarettes...yeah...those should be illegal.
Nah man, cigarettes are way too healthy for the environment for us to make them illegal. If it wasn't for those things killing us by the handful, there'd be more humans on the planet fucking it up

Agreed.

It takes an incredible amount of skill to pull a move like that off (especially against an elite fighter like Rockhold), but there's also a reason why Vitor's looked like dogshit after TRT was banned. Testosterone definitely increases your speed and strength, and also makes training + recovering from injuries A LOT easier.

Yeah, I know. Just buggin'

Another classic case of pure competition vs. spectacle.

AN Usada? Why "An"? Did you even english at school ts?

If PEDs weren't horribly bad for a person, in the long run, we'd all be on them. The reason why they're banned and the reason why we're not all on them, is because they're like cigarettes. They cause severe health problems and we don't want to promote devastating health risks for short term glory...ie: we don't want kids messing with their health to get a competitive edge in sports.

They tried...it was a little thing called prohibition....and cigarettes...yeah...those should be illegal. Sometimes people are too stupid to make smart decisions on their own. It's like seatbelt laws or motorcycle helmet laws. Protect the masses from their own dumb-fucked-ness.
