I usually do pull-ups rather than chin-ups because they are easier on my elbows. But today I was having pain in my fingers, and I found that switching to chin-ups helped. I have been having pain in my fingers due to all the gi gripping in BJJ. I've been taping my fingers during class, and trying to rely a little less on my grips. I'm also going to buy a rash guard so I can start attending the no-gi classes. I don't think I can wear my old school Marco Ruas shorts, the young guys would freak out.
I went out of town for a month and a half. I worked out a little bit: running, sprints, and body weight exercises. But mostly I ate and drank too much, and swam in the ocean.
