Usyk, for his 6th fight fought the SA boxer Dannie Venter.

Venter is a tough fella.
He has a first round KO over one time SA prospect Flo Simba (back when Simba was still thought to have some potential).
He KOd the tough SA cruiser Zack Mwekassa (who's now in Glory.... or something).

Lost a MD to Thabiso McChunu in his first fight with him.


So he's not a push over.

Usyk KOd him in 9.

Usyk is promising. Does anyone know what his plans are? Is he going to stick around at CW and try to pick up a belt or two before trying out HW?

I guess so. If my memory serves me right, I think he said that he wants to become champion at CW, and just then to gain weight and make a permanent move to HW. K2 are his promoters so I doubt he rushes to move up.
