My diet has always been pretty shit tbh.

Even when I was obese as fuck, I just used to count calories but not really eat properly.

I'm mainly trying to eat more than I burn for now.

Like a zillion. If you want to lose it fast, cut out all bread, all pasta, all soda. Even just doing that for starters will set you in the right direction
 
@Peteyandjia does building all this muscle shit help with distance running?

I wanna get faster but surely being more bulky will slow my runs down?

or will it make me faster if I have stronger legs and stuff?

I run with one guy and he's stick thin but fast as fuck lol.

Lifting doesn’t help running. Running helps running. Beyond that, you can help your running (and everything else) with a good diet.

· Medical hospitalisation within last 2 months
· Major surgery within 3 months, note that surgery is a major risk factor for DVT
· Patients with metastatic cancer
· Increasing age (due to immobilisation and comorbidity)
· Pregnancy (due to hypercoagubility and stasis due to obstruction)
· Obesity (immobility and hypercoabuble due to pro-inflammatory state)
· Factor V Leiden, Protein S or C deficiency (thrombophilias)
· Recent long distance air travel (esp. those with other risk factors who travel)
· Taking the COCP/HRT
