Poch needs more time

Fans are far too unrealistic. He's achieved a lot in four years. If Spurs finish top 4 & qualify for CL they've had a successful season.

Good guy Messi giving Coutinho the Pen after the ref stole a good goal from him.

Poor Sevilla getting smashed. Last win for them this year was at OT.

That's probably their ceiling, imo.

Pretty unlikely they'll win a CL or PREM anytime soon.

Watching Barca after seeing a prem top6 club v another prem top 6 gm is depressing

we're still a long way off having an english club field a proper complete midfield. we just create chaos lol

I look at this Barca midfield play today & wonder how the fuck Liverpool are in the CL semi-finals

10 minutes past midnight, so good morning guys.

Every team has their strengths. City's midfield on their day can compete with almost anyone's imo. As a Barca fan I'd welcome Eriksen with open arms.

Watching that FA cup semi though, there does seem to be a gap in quality from the Madrid, Barca and maybe Buyern midfields but that's understandable at this time.

Iniesta was left for dead awhile ago but he's been fantastic today. He can't go a full 90 anymore but sometimes he's still good for 60. Coutinho is a stud I thoroughly enjoy watching him play. I dont even think he's fully acclimated to Barca's system yet he's putting on great performances. I'm looking forward to next year when he should be a nailed on starter in all comps. Dembele is coming along ok too scoring a crucial goal away against Celta. Another year of acclimation will do him wonders hopefully.

The midfield without Coutinho was Barca's weakest in a long time imo. It's why Roma overran them.

especially with Messi dropping there, along with coutinho, rakitic(on his day) Busquets(second most important Barca player) and if Iniesta is feeling it, they are almost unplayable.

Poch basically indirectly told Levy it's time to stump up in the post match presser

He built an incredible side on peanuts. Time to back him to keep him around or risk going back to being Spursy.

Poch is certainly not the issue

Hell one could even say he is as important as Messi to Barca's success.

Having said that, being so principled does have its costs. Not playing Alderweireld today was a mistake.

Folk saying he got outmaneuvered by Mou today are talking out their hole though.
