Look at the picture, sometimes the answer will be right in front of you. The style advantage is in Liddell’s corner in this one. He is just physically bigger and stronger with a reach advantage. It is difficult for Henderson to close the distance and get inside when he’s fighting a striker with a longer reach. IMO Liddell takes it if he fights strategically and does not make a mental lapse (i.e. Shogun forgetting who Henderson was in the rematch).
The time he faced power like Dan, he got stopped by Rampage - who I recall only appearing to hurt him once, and I think it was by the time Hendo was tired.
Seems like this thread is done every two weeks lately.

That is all technique my friend, Rampage has sharper boxing and counterpunching. If Liddell did fight conservatively there wouldn’t be much Henderson could muster other than pepper shots on the outside. Henderson is not this well-rounded stand up fighter like some on here might venture to say.
