Prime Machida was a machine, IMO from 06 to 09, til his 16-1 (Shogun defeat). Started to fade since then, winning and losing. chrins fought him in 14 only if im not wrong.

He started to fade because of 2 reasons

1) he got figured out
2) his invincibility aura shattered, and it played a mental affect on him (it does to everyone when they lose).

yeah I agree with you. I said it cause when Chris fought him he was far from his prime. Prime Machida x prime Chris, I would take Machida.
