Problem With Ads

Since yesterday i've been having this issue:

I've cleared my cache in Chrome, tried with Firefox but the problem is stll present. I'm on Android.

It's quite annoying since when scrolling down I can also scroll to the right.

Never even noticed ads before on mobile. Is there a way to fix this?

I've got it too. Thought it might ve been me visiting shady porn sites but nope. You having the same issue confirms it's sherdog.

Ads are annoying and make the site very slow for me.

The worst part is that it keeps making me click wrong threads. As I click, the ad will load and I'll have clicked something else. Its bad

Also since the ads started, sherdog has been random redirecting to bullshit ad sites. Congratulations you've won this! Or warning bullshit

Same here.

The page will load, then ads will pop up.

Usually when using the mobile version you're not supposed to be able to zoom out like this.

I’m on iPhone, but I noticed a similar issue starting yesterday as well.

99 out of a 100 times that I use this website, I use my mobile device.

Basically the last 10 times I was on Sherdog, 9.9 of those times I used my phone.

Anyways, you guys get what I’m trying to say.

Nope. The problem is still there.

I don't understand how no one has fixed this problem yet. It's been 3 days and it's a generalized problem, not just an isolated case.

Try using the site on your mobile, you'll see.

There even seems to be a problem with the ads on PC also, judging by an above comment.

They're updating the adcode. I'll replace the code here as soon as it's ready. There's are 2 issues. A template statement that was left open. I fixed that. When websupport looked at it they found another problem. Desktop adcode is loading in mobile. It just gets resized by my mobile browser so it hasn't been an issue for me. That's what's causing your issues. That will be fixed with new code, hopefully tomorrow.

It would work even better not serving ads at all.

Anyway, the issue is still present.

Not only does it mess up the page like the pictures above but the ads take a long time to load. The page loads, then several seconds later the ads pop up causing the page to move.

It's also giving me random redirects on mobile, what about you? It's not alot. Maybe 2x per day.

@mooshy I was getting those when I was trying to test adcode with chrome mobile. In site settings I cleared storage, in Google settings, Ads (settings) I reset advertising ID and opted out of Ads Personalization, rebooted phone - none of that worked

Then I cleared history and it stopped.
