LHW looks like a good one.

LHW looks like a good one.
Light-Heavyweight looks surprisingly good.

I would say the strongest is maybe Welterweight. The weakest weight class of this bunch is definitely Middleweight.

My predictions for champions would probably be:

Heavyweight: Caio Alencar
Light-Heavyweight: Brandon Halsey
Middleweight: Shamil Gamzatov
Welterweight: Abubakar Nurmagomedov
Lightweight: Rashid Magomedov
Featherweight: Andre Harrison

not a bad lineup imo.

Wasnt a big fan of WSOF in its later stages but this season concept has potentional and they have the talent in some of these divisions to make this brand legitimate.

The thing is can they stay afloat long enough to finish this tournament? Cant help but wonder, with the oversaturation currently in mma ( mostly ufc ) has PFL any chance to succeed? Sure most hardcore mma fans wil tune in if possible to watch PFL but i cant imagine seeing the casual fan massively tuning in to watch a bunch of guys they have never or vaguely heard of compete on a show that isnt the ufc or Bellator.

A lot of names that should be in the UFC btw. would deserve it more than some fighters current UFC fighters.
Think the ufc missed a lot of opportunities there.

PFL seems to have really good scouting.
But I would prefer when the elite of MMA would fight in one league and not be divided up on many organizations. Especially not in organizations like PFL that nobody watches.

WSOF helped build some truly awesome champions, like Justin Gaethje and Marlon Moraes.
I hope we get more of that going forward.

My picks:

Heavyweight: Denis Goltsov
Light Heavyweight: Rashid Yusupov
Middleweight: Shamil Gamzatov
Welterweight: Abubakar Nurmagomedov
Lightweight: Will Brooks
Featherweight: Andre Harrison

Bazigit Ataev? I haven't heard from this guy in years. Probably the first MMA fighter ever to win by KO from a spinning back kick.

I have a sneaking feeling the winner of all of these tournaments is gonna be some random guy not in any of these brackets that filled in for someone injured (who himself replaced someone injured) in the tournament's second or third round.

My picks:

Heavyweight: Denis Goltsov
Light Heavyweight: Rashid Yusupov
Middleweight: Shamil Gamzatov
Welterweight: Abubakar Nurmagomedov
Lightweight: Will Brooks
Featherweight: Andre Harrison
Ivanov vs. Goltsov would be a killer.

My picks:

Heavyweight: Denis Goltsov
Light Heavyweight: Rashid Yusupov
Middleweight: Shamil Gamzatov
Welterweight: Abubakar Nurmagomedov
Lightweight: Will Brooks
Featherweight: Andre Harrison
Rashid Magomedov will murder Brooks

Those HW and LHW tournaments are NOT jumping out at me. Fairly weak.

Gets better in the lower weight classes.

Nice good stuff.

My picks would probably be:
HW: Goltsov
LHW: Yusupov
MW: Gamzatov
WW: Nurmagomedov
LW: Robert Watley
FW: Andre Harrison

My picks:

Heavyweight: Denis Goltsov
Light Heavyweight: Rashid Yusupov
Middleweight: Shamil Gamzatov
Welterweight: Abubakar Nurmagomedov
Lightweight: Will Brooks
Featherweight: Andre Harrison

Actually agree with all of these except LW. I'm a big fan of Will but I just don't think his confidence is gonna be where it needs to be to get through this tourney. I'd take Rashid and Watley over him for sure.

LW and FW are tough to pick, especially LW. I can't argue against picking Watley or Rashid either.
