Homer did too cos he was broke and needed the cash. It wasn't very lucrative.

Our state manager does Santa gigs for friends, work, and family. He's approaching retirement age and has looked into it. He says he can make around $30k in November and December if he really works it a bunch. Realistically, he thinks he'll bring in $15k-$20k every winter doing it while retired.

Great pay is 20 bucks an hour? Thats how much a person I know made at a busy mall last year in Chicago area.

If you are in a place in life were you need to work as a mall santa to make money, chances are its not that good..
