Punk Ska Billy Folk and assorted things like that VOL. 2

Local hometown hero's when I was younger

They're on the infamous "Bllleeeeaaauuurrrgghh" comp on Slap-A-Ham records (64 songs on one 7")

I just saw that No Use For A Name was originally on Slap-A-Ham as well, they were pretty much a HC band when they started

I mentioned before that famous skateboarder "Steve Caballero" was originally in Guttermouth (when they first started)

He was also in a band called Soda, they released a split 7" with No Use For A Name (good old www.discogs.com , endless info on who was in what bands)

Steve Caballero was in 4 bands (that released albums) plus Guttermouth, and he released a couple solo albums. Everything (minus the Guttermouth stuff, who didn't record anything when he was in the band) is on this cd. He played guitar in these bands... I thought he played drums in Guttermouth but I'm probably wrong about that, since he plays guitar in these other bands, who knows?

He also did the guitar solo on Skate by H2O on thier album last year

Yeah, Slap-A-Ham and Sex Weeks are the GOAT HC labels imo.

Pretty much every band that Chris Dodge was in was gold: Ancient Chinese Secret, Bacteria Cult, Burn Your Bridges, Despise You, Duh, East/West Blast Test,Electro Static Orchestra, Hellnation, Infest, Lack Of Interest, Legion Of Doom (9), Low Threat Profile, No Use For A Name, Pig Heart Transplant, Spazz, Stikky, To The Point

Pig Heart Transplant was kind of disappointing , Chris Dodge plus Iron Lung should equal to something amazing, but maybe sludge fans love this, I don't know.

That flyer lies though, Plutocracy got back together, eventually.

These guys lyrics can be pretty emo at times, but musically they're pretty awesome, imo.

I was watching a bunch of Troma movies and I came across this low budget director named Chris Seaver who did a film for Troma (which sucked btw) with the Planet Smashers on the soundtrack, so I checked out one of his other movies. It was a Twilight spoof called Taintlight. They used this song for the main fight scene (which didn't work at all)

In his Troma movie, Zombie Hitler's favourite song was Super Orgy Porno Party by The Planet Smashers

Saw face to face over the weekend.

They sounded great. Was a good crowd for a sunday night show.

ill play one too
