question for american bettors

For you bigger players isn't it going to be much easier very soon to make plays the size you want (with the new law allowing states to legalize sports betting)?

What's your logic here? I'm guessing you mean:

people who weren't able to bet on sports before will be attracted to sports gambling because of legalization ---> they will get involved in the culture and hear about offshore ---> they will start playing offshore, thereby increasing the take and allowing the books to increase limits

I was more thinking that once states start legalizing and offering lines that big players can spread their action around and get the amounts down that they want (but just spread across different books).

Meh. My understanding is that so far, the states are offering shit lines with shit limits and are booting winners. Also, how many states are really going to offer lines on MMA?

That's awesome...

Did you do the cashier check route as well?
They sent me certified cheques by courier to my door in USD. (Well, I actually sent them to my mother's house in case they wanted to kill me.)

I think it will be a slow progression IF it happens. More states legalize sports betting overall. Certain books within those states offer MMA (may be a small % though I agree with you there). Eventually the theory would be that competition leaves the "good" books standing and there's enough of them taking MMA action that someone like you could get 25k on a fight spread between a few solid books.

Might be too optimistic, IDK.

Same professional sports bettor as I posted above booted from another New Jersey sportsbook after one single day:

Sportsbet is a sister book to dimes. Same lines, I imagine they have the same scams/frauds as dimes too. that's the only other book that offers props early. this search for a new book is very difficult, currently trying to talk to 5d customer service about the credit card theft. Considering switching to bitcoin and continuing with 5dimes. Any suggested bitcoin wallets? looking at coinbase.

I use Electrum for a Bitcoin wallet on my laptop.

do you buy your coins from there as well?
No, I purchased my coins a few years ago when the price was much lower with cash in a local retail outlet and redeemed them via an app called Liberty X. I believe in keeping gambling to cash & Bitcoin. I would never use a credit card or link any part of the Bitcoin purchase or gambling payouts transactions to my credit cards or bank accounts.

in a slightly embarrassing turn of events, investigating my credit card fraudulent charge, after accusing 5dimes customer support, I discovered I was charged by some online food app company for mobile food apps. I went to one restaurant 2-3 times and got coffee 5-6 times, but it charges you at the end of the month. so when i got a $55 charge from some 3rd party credit card company, I didn't recognize it all and assumed it was 5dimes. so I guess it wasn't dimes after all.

still switching to bitcoin for the near future on dimes.

5dimes said they were aware of fraudulent charges in the past but as of august they switched credit card hosting companies and improved security. I believe them, I chatted with a "fraud manager".

I used a relatively obscure app called Liberty X a few years ago that had an arrangement at a local cell phone payment retail establishment to pay cash for a redeemable code which was then submitted on their Android app so they could send me the appropriate BTC amount to my electronic wallet. That was a one time purchase for me since I don't intend to lose all my BTC and have to purchase more ever again. As far as withdrawing from the sportsbooks, I would simply request a BTC payout to my BTC wallet and then it's up to me how I want to convert BTC to dollars. There are several ways to do that including selling them for cash on LocalBitcoin.
