Reasons why Conor McGregor would beat Khabib in a rematch

Khabib took him down easily in 15 seconds exposing Conor's weak lateral movement.

The only question was could he close the distance and he did it in 15 seconds and sent him to cardio hell.

Khabib wins 9.5/10
This low single was my biggest worry going into this fight. Conors fundamentals here were decent... But his hips weren't heavy enough. Heavier hips and he might have been able to stuff this. I hope he brings in a top level wrestler to his camp next time.

If he makes a few more tweaks to his wrestling and doesn't get hit with another huge shot standing (This should be rare) it will be a closer fight. Not saying he'll win, just that it will be closer. I would bet on Conor at +350.

If herb dean allows him to cheat again and ignores him tapping next time, then and only then does he have a chance.

I've got to admit that even before watching the fight with Khabib I was able to come up with fewer reasons than TS did after their fight.

Now I'm just trying to figure out what fight TS was watching...but seriously, the only way Connor wins this fight is to keep it standing, and he was going 0/4 in making that happen.

There's so many reasons why Conor would beat Khabib in a rematch:

1) Conor wasn't at his best, but that was the best Khabib you're ever going to see. Your not going to see a better version of Khabib than that, however who knows what could happen if a better Conor shows up in the rematch.

2) I don't think Conor was motivated efficiently for this fight. Drinking whiskey not taking the fight seriously. However now he has his motivation, he's now driven again motivated again.

3) Conors tactics was wrong, by the words of his own coach, they worked too much on defense and little on offence.

4) Conors own coach himself said the following: "ABSOLUTELY CONOR SUFFERED FROM RING RUST". Said it on the Joe rogan show, check it out of you don't believe me. He said it. In the rematch there would be no ring rust.

5) Conor WANTS the rematch more than anything. Khabib doesn't seem to want it though.....I wonder why.

6) Conor knows now what to do when Khabib takes him to the ground or how to stop the takedowns (see round 3).

You are beyond pathetic at this point. You’ll be a 90 year old man, on your death bed....screaming at the nurses, “Conor would’ve won a rematch!! He would have won!!”

Get. A. Life.

The point is, even if Conor wins...people (including myself, because I thought Khabib's striking was way too sloppy before the fight) will say Conor just caught him..and they will have to rematch. That being said, it's hard as hell to bridge the gap when someone has been doing it since right out of diapers. Same with Floyd

1. What’s your rationale and/or evidence that this was a) NOT best Conor’s vesion. And b) The best Khabib’s version and, C) that Khabib can’t do better and/or improve.

2. That’s not what HE said. He said that he was VERY motivated and at a 100%. So he lied?

3. NAH, he clearly said that the strategy was to do as MUCH damage as possible but that they were under the assumption that Conor was going to be on his ass starting round 1, and that Conor himself thought this as well. What he was saying is that they didn’t want to fight as much on the ground since KHABIB is an specialist at re-grounding people and that that would take a lot of energy out of Conor. Either way he’s fucked, because he didn’t try to stand up back and he got tired anyways and if he try to do that next time he finish his gas tank in the first.

4) And Owen, Artem, Dillon and Conor himself said that not at all. So who is the hypocrite here? Btw, Owen went as far as to claim that ring rust doesn’t exist.

5) Where is your evidence that Khabib doesn’t want it? Because apparently he said that he want the biggest pay ever? Of course he will do that, I would, and any other person with an average intellect would do that. If Conor wants this rematch SO BAD and is not about money then he should accept a 65-35 purse split or something like that.

6. How come he didn’t do it during round 1 and round 2? Oh let me guess the obvious.. Khabib was pacing himself and not going full power? He usually go much stronger for the takedowns and follow up. See iaquinta fight, same exact thing. Khabib is a smart fighter, he recovered and finished him in the next round.

Pretty disappointed about your pretty subjective and emotional arguments. Next time bring an argument from a technical fighting perspective on how Conor can win a rematch and validate your theory with evidence (examples).

Clearly compromised. Look at how slow he is. Was 10x as fast against Chad.

Look who’s back....NotoriousMillions LOL!

Conor got his ass KICKED, and he’ll never beat Khabib. Not ever. There’s not a damn thing you can do about it but cry like the pink-panty-wearing pansy you are.

27-0 you little troll. Suck on that.

Cheaters don’t deserve a rematch imo. Especially if you got humiliated in this way. Also, as other already pointed out, he never gave anyone a re-match when he beat them. Not even a legend like Aldo whos win over him was a huge fluke.

<WhoJeff>

The Shertardness is extra strong in this one...
Khabib whooped his ass and would do it again. Conor's
grappling is simply nowhere near Khabib's level which amounts to
Khabib controlling where the fight takes place. Once you finally
let that sink in, things will become clearer for you.

But that might be an effort in futility for you and the Conor nuthuggers here.
