Rener is an idiot for wanting the fight to continue. But in the long run it's up to the fighter's to put a responsible cornerman in there to protect them. I'm guessing some cornermen who have competed in combat sports have a tough time separating their 'warrior mentality' from their duty to protect their fighters.
