The 2 faced off in the Openweight Tournament semifinals back in 2016, with Mighty Mo pulling off a headlock to win a competitive fight. Since then Mo has knocked out 3 straight opponents and is the current Openweight champion.

Hyun Man Myung is coming off of a face plant KO over Huggy Bear. He's a dangerously powerful kickboxer that seems to have begun grasping the grappling aspect of the sport.

Both guys are heavy hitting, former pro kickboxers so there should be some fireworks happening.

Main Card
Openweight Title Bout
Mighty Mo (12-5, champion) vs Hyun Man Myung (5-3)

Lightweight Tournament Semifinals Bouts
Ronys Torres (36-5) vs Shamil Zavurov (34-5-1)
Kota Shimoishi (21-4) vs Mansour Barnaoui (16-4)

Middleweight Bout
Nae Chul Kim (6-4) vs In Su Hwang (3-0)

Two whole months without Road FC. FML.

Having said that, nice headliner.

Picking Myung as the new hw champ!!!

Aorigele should be in this card as a number 1 contender fight.

Jake heun should be a solid one.

I was hoping for Heun to fight Mo...Oh well

Heun's fight against Mu Bae Choi wasn't that impressive. He scored enough in the first round that his failed gas tank and chin got him through the next two when Choi took over, and won. Also, Road might be hesitant to use Jake after he had to drop at at the last minute for the China card due to visa issues.

Heun keeps trying to run to other orgs, I wouldn't trust him with a title opportunity

Looking forward to it! RFC 46 looks great.

I’m going with

Shamil vs Mansour

Yea I can see Shamil getting a decision or Ronys getting a finish either sub or GNP. Going with Ronys. Thinking Mighty Mo overhand right get it done to remain champ...hopefully... love Mo

I managed to catch up with the Road FC cards I had missed during 2017 over this mostly quiet holiday break. The Mighty Mo openweight title fight headlining Road FC 46 should be entertaining. I am especially looking forward to the progression of the lightweight tournament. I'm surprised that it hasn't gotten more coverage in Western MMA media if they are really going to give the tournament winner a million dollars assuming that he also beats A-Sol Kwon for the lightweight title. Not being familiar with A-Sol's previous fights since I started watching Road FC in the last year only, I don't know how difficult that is going to be to beat him, or how the prize is going to be paid out. Seems like they should have gotten a lot more volunteers from around the world, including some more notable fighters for such a large prize.

Melvin Guillard was in talks for it. But they held trials for it and sought out people from all over. I'm a little surprised over the turnout aswell, giving the division and the prize amount. Still a lot of good fighters. Leo Kuntz got eliminated and some other UFC vets. I still don't get it. The winner fights A Sol than if he wins gets 1 mill or the winner of the tournament get 1 mill. Than fights the champ for another sum of money?

Kwon will be a tough fight for whoever wins. He's a solid fighter but he can be streaky, sometimes he doesn't seem to have his mind in the right place.

I feel like they didn't end up with more recognizable names because people are skeptical about them delivering on such a huge cash prize. They probably also wanted guys they could either hold on to or build up to potentially be a face of the promotion. They still pulled together some solid veterans and young talents for it, just a shame that Fiziev seems to have brittle hands.

Guillard was supposed to be in it but he suddenly signed for a Bellator fight 2 weeks before the ROAD event, missed weight (at Welterweight no less), lost, and pulled out. He got rescheduled for a later event but being forever the exemplary professional, flaked again.

Melvin guillard ended up signing with Sparta Combat league, regional show in Colorado

Mighty Mo has a message for both Myung Hyun Man and the Korean fans:

In Soo Hwang (3-0), fresh of a super fast KO of Jung Kyo Park, takes a big step up as he faces another tough veteran, Nae Chul Kim (6-4).
