Jeremy Botter over the sport podcast earlier that the WWE is keeping Brock's schedule from November and the 8 weeks prior as a 'no work'.

They're suggesting that Brock Lesnar will face the winner of Stipe Miocic vs Alistair Overeem (who remember, is now no longer on steroids) for the heavyweight title.

Vince McMahon is apparently wanting to take this risk to create the ultimate monster in WWE in Brock Lesnar, who ended a 20+ year undefeated streak in the fake world of wrestling and hasn't been pinned in over 2 years.

Vince is banking on Lesnar becoming the UFC heavyweight champion in November so that he can build up Lesnar is the most dominant force in professional wrestling history since Hulk Hogan of decades ago. He intends on giving a newcomer the push by having them beat Brock Lesnar at WrestleMania next year to create the ultimate new WWE superstar.

Lesnar apparently has actually made a promise to Vince, and Vince is holding him to it. Basically, Brock says he feels healthy and is 1000% and is capable of being the best HW in the world, and Vince is putting his trust in him.

Vince is playing 4D chess with Dana White and he doesn't realize it.

again, just coming from Jeremy Botter of course, complete rumor.

Doubt it. UFC 203 is in September.
Money talks.

The NYC event isnt set in stone anyway. Vince's ultimate goal is to get the UFC on title on Lesnar, for purpose of pushing new talent and making Lesnar look stronger.

In NYC or not.

Lesnar will face the winner and Lesnar himself thinks that he now being sickness free, is the best heavyweight and is confident that he will get the title.

No way UFC lets Brock become HW champ while still with WWE. Even if they did, Dana would probably have a stipulation in the fight contract saying the UFC Title can't be shown nor mentioned on WWE tv.

Vince playing Dana like a fiddle.

Brock took down Cain and Hunt, he could easily power double Stipe...

But Overeem will win anyway.

Lol yes please. Id rather see Brock vs Werdum, JDS or Cain again but I'm down with this fight as well. It's about selling tickets. Brock and Hendo sell tickets.

Remember though, Overeem isn't a 270lb roided freak anymore.

Hes a flabbier 240lbs... and we all know Lesnar didn't really try much in that fight.

Earliest I see this happening is December New Years Eve show. Which is great. A good 5 months of USADA testing for Brock.

Would love to see Brock fight JDS or Werdum or Cain before though. Make him earn it. He didn't take any damage against Hunt. (Lol and neither did Hunt)

Get mileage out of Lesnar.

I would love it, but I think Lesnar is smart enough to know he would still get smoked by Overeem and Velasquez. Likely Werdum and dos Santos as well.

If he comes back for another fight, it should be for marquee value only against the likes of Fedor Emelianenko.

Why would Dana do that? Dana would allow it. Free advertising. Wrestling fans watch mma. Mma fans typically don't watch wrestling.

No damage?

Look at his face... Round 3 was practically a 10-8 for Lesnar
