I was at a nice/pleasant dinner with some friends the other night.

None of them particularly like MMA, so we talked of other things.

Later, one guy I didn’t know started talking about WMMA since it came that I follow mma pretty closely.

He asked if I liked wmma and I was kinda at a loss.

The guy apparently knew a low level wmma fighter and was trying to talk to me about something he figured I’d enjoy.

He asked me “Do you like wmma?” Very excitedly and after he had already talked about the fighter he knew.
