PC Sherdog PC Build/Buy Thread, v6: My Power Supply Burned Down My House

Well, it is off to Best Buy to replace my mouse and keyboard...since my cat decided to throw up copious amounts of liquid onto them. Of course the keyboard was my Corsair Strafe I just got.

Anyone want a cat?

Well, I made a rookie mistake. I didn't even think to check for clearance before I bought the AIO or before I started disassembling the build. Zip ties ftw!

Amazon still doesn't have the good board partner 1080ti available in the UK.... I think I might move to the states:mad:

If it works, call it a win!

Do you want one.

I'm just kidding, I would not get rid of her.
What keyboard did you end up with?

I'm not really happy about it atm, but I didn't want to put the crappy cooler I had on there back on and that was my only option. There's no front fans on that case.
I ordered a g4560 and now I'm waiting to find a great sale for a matx mobo to replace what's in there now.

Make sure to bring a laptop to test it at. There's youtube videos that will help you check for dead pixels and such.

For the new one? I end up ordering another Corsair Strafe RGB Cherry Red from amazon. I liked it to much to get a different keyboard. I also ordered a Corsair M65 Pro RGB Mouse to go with it. My old mouse was from a Cooler Master keyboard and Mouse set, so I could not just replace it.

You might be able to find a different case on Craigslist?

Nice! I've used that M65 a few times and I liked it, it was a little skinny in the ass for my taste though. I've been been looking at replacing my keyboard with the blue version of that keyboard. I wish it came with greens.

I've got other cases I could put it in, but I like the form factor of the case. It's got a full sized board in it, when I go with a matx I'll have room to move the fan back inside the case.

Yeah the sidewalk sale. I used to go to it all the time with some friends. Not sure if still the case, but shops opened up around midnight on Friday and sold all kinds of stuff through the next day. Lots of vintage electronics and computer stuff to geek out on. Bought my first 21" CRT monitor there if that dates me at all LOL.

Introducing the new ASRock SuperCarrier!

Why did they label the m.2 slot twice next to the pci-e x1 slot? And why are they putting the crossfire and sli logo's on the board, especially up by the ram slots.
