Is this true that its easier to dead lift if you have shorter arms or is this a myth?

Long arms and short legs would minimize the range of motion, which would make the lift 'easier.' How to measure this, I don't have a clue, just bro-science.

All other factors being equal, longer arms would shorten the ROM of the DL. However, any lifter with longer arms will also likely have longer longer femurs, tib-fib's, and spine, which will themselves make the lift more difficult.

more important the arm length would be arm length to leg length ratio. Being built like a gorilla with long arms and short ass legs would be optimal for deadlift shortening your range of motion

Torso length is also a factor.

I think technique would be better.
