Shot in the Dark Netflix series

I searched and didnt see any thread on this. I just binge watched the season, and it is a great show. The inner drama that plays out between the competition trying to get the best shot is a nice addition. The stringers prowl the night chasing death, fires, wrecks etc. trying to get the best video shot to sell to the news for the top morning story. Good show. Im not crazy about most Netflix series. I find maybe 2 a year worth watching. This is my kind of docu-series.

Its basically Nightcrawler the documentary series. They chase emergency calls all through the night on LA freeways and roads. I just started watching and its great. I see OnScene and Loudlabs all the time on the news but RMG is new to me. Here's their youtube channels for raw footage:

I think I saw one thread on this earlier which caused me to watch the show, maybe @shadow_priest_x wrote about it??

I enjoyed watching it. The editing is kinda standard for a reality show building drama between people and alliances as well, but it's to be expected. I still finished the whole series. It was shot very well. On the new 4k TV it looked really good. Especially all the LA aerial shots. I'll more than likely check out the 2nd season provided it gets a green light.

Yeah man, I've been watching a ton of 4k in my living room over the last 2 weeks and this show's aerial shots were one of those things that got me to stand up and walk up to the 65" about 2 feet away and stare at it like a little kid. I watched some episodes on my smaller 43" 4k in my bedroom, but it didn't stand out quite as much on the smaller screen.
