Size of TVs for console gaming - How big is too big?

I console game at a desk. My Xbox one x and PS4 are hooked up to a 24” Vizio 1080p/60 tv.

My ps1, ps3, Xbox, SEGA genesis classic and Wiiu are hooked up to a 32” tv.

For systems I take serious I prefer a PC gaming type setup, whereas with old systems I just wanna mess around with I like a bigger tv
