Still feeling sick, but thought I was ok enough to hit the gym. Strength wasn't great and fatigue definitely set in pretty quick, but still wasn't a bad session. Squats were weaker than usual, 270 was definitely my absolute max today. Power snatches were pretty solid. Clean and jerks were actually very smooth, although on my first set at 185 my nose started bleeding so I had to spend the rest of the session wiping my face after each set. 205 was surprisingly easy and I just missed the first jerk at 220. I came back and hit it my next try but it was very close, I feel like when it comes to my jerk a lot of it is being confident and telling myself that I can get it.

I think this is a piece of advice I needed to see. Confidence is a major issue with me on jerk as I can actually push press more than I jerk. When I dip, there is definite uncertainty with jerks because it does feel heavy. I don't remember having that feeling with push presses.
 
There are days when 130 kg feels heavy for me, like yesterday. It's not like I was ever in any danger of missing a rep because it's easy to stay in position with weight that light, but it still felt way heavier than that weight should.

Just hit your positions and don't rush the dip and drive.

Considering the combination of having not back squatted and being sick, these weren't terrible. Legs were really beat after but glad to finally get back squats back into my routine.

Well 275 is definitely not ready to be a daily max yet, gonna go back to hitting 265 and 270 then focus more on the drop down sets. Snatches were solid, diid 2 sets at 170 just because the 2nd rep of the first set was an ugly save that shouldn't have happened. 2nd set of doubles were smooth. Power cleans were easy.

This is definitely something I seriously need to remember. My first thought after I stand with a heavier clean is always "fuck this is heavy, can't jerk this" which leads to me hesitating for way too long and not fully committing.

Oddly enough after not benching for close to a month and losing around 5lbs of bodyweight, my bench hasn't gone down at all and, based on how close 201 was, may have actually slightly increased.

Dropped squats back to 265 and it was tough but still good form-wise. Snatches felt strong, 185 was smooth but I just couldn't get 205 high enough to drop under. Jerks started out strong but then I just couldn't get 220 high enough to not have to press it out slightly. Decided to try split jerks after, not really expecting much considering I hadn't done them in a month and my split jerk has always been pretty bad. While 205 was pretty shaky, I hit 220 very easily and although 230 was a bit of a mess I still hit it without any issues locking out. I feel like I should have hit 240 but I rushed both attempts. So I guess I'm back to split jerking... I have no fucking clue lol.

Solid session. Squats felt pretty weak, 265 was tough as were following doubles. Snatches were good, seems like weight has to be around 60% before I can get into a groove. 180 was a bit in front but still got it without too much trouble for a 5lb PR, went for 185 didn't get it quite high enough plus it was in front. Clean and jerks were also surprisingly very solid. The cleans at 190 were pretty taxing but I nailed the jerk on both sets, which is encouraging. Tried 220 after and it was probably too big of a jump as I couldn't get set after the clean. I felt myself getting dizzy after the second clean and didn't even try to jerk it.

Really good session. Front squats were feeling very strong, decided to go for 275 after 245 paused was easy. 275 was tough but not nearly as ugly as the 274 I hit a bit ago. Snatches started off ok, but hit a snag at the first set of 170 were I was bumping the bar way too much. Fixed that and the next 3 sets were easy. Should have gone for 185 before jumping to 200, it was definitely there today. Power cleans were strong, hit 220 very solidly but 230 wasn't too close to being high enough. Power jerks really surprised me with how good they felt, 220 for 3 is a huge PR.

Good session. Squats felt a little weak today, really questionable if i could have hit 260 paused. Snatches were very good, first miss at 185 was in front from banging it forward. Second miss was just a hair in front and I didn't adjust quick enough to hold it. Third attempt was a little forward to but I was able to take a step to stabilize it for a new PR. Cleans were tough but form felt really good. Jerks were cake. Weighed in at 156.2 this morning.

Figured, after taking yesterday off, it'd be a good day to try for some good lifts. Squats felt pretty strong, 260 for a double was very very tough and didn't really leave me much chance at 280. Snatches felt pretty good, but not great, hit the two doubles at 180 without too much trouble. I wanted 190 for a new PR double but just missed the second rep. Hit 205 on my second try for a 1lb PR, but since I'm 5-6lbs lighter than when I hit 204 I'm happy with it. I usually don't like to go for endless attempts at a PR but I just know I have 210 in me. Particularly my 3rd and 4th attempts were painfully close, honestly not sure how I missed the 4th it felt very heavy off the floor but I could feel myself get into the power position just right. 5th attempt was the same way but I was way too slow getting under so I never locked my arms out.

Don't know how I can't hit 210. All snatches up until then were cake, after I hit 200 I honestly thought "should I double this?". Missed 210 behind the first time then the next too attempts were particularly close. Clean and jerks were also pretty easy till 230, were it suddenly felt impossibly heavy. First attempt at 245 I racked it but couldn't stand, next two buried me.

Iffy session. Squat strength was pretty poor today. Snatches were also kinda off, first set at 170 I fucked up my pull and hit myself in the dick on the 2nd rep. Still hitting 170 for a paused triple is a PR. Jerks were ok, really have to work on remembering to rotate my shoulders and get the bar behind me.
