This is what Dana said about the situation when he got the title shot coming off a suspension before.
I agree with him though, putting soneone green with an unbeaten killer like Jones is not a good idea. It could totally wreck a fighters confidence.

Krylov, Cummins, and Cirkunov are at 14, 13, and 11 respectively. Not exactly green. Tyson Pedro is Green but would he turn down a Jones fight? Should we really tell him he can't fight him?

Y'all are thinking of Roid-Jones and not the real Jones.
 
The guy's a pleasure to watch. He's incredibly skilled and creative. His history of steroid use makes it hard to take the results seriously from a competitive standpoint though, especially when he's now working with USADA and barely being tested.

This is the truth. But the haters, we all know who, will try to do anything to sway the narrative.

You love fighting? Jon is the GOAT
You hate cheating? Jon is cleaning up the sport
You love PRs? Jon is the most dominant force in MMA history

What's their actual problem with Jon here? I think I know the answer and it's disgusting.
 
He was probably buying his juice off Dana and was promised a good deal.
 
Imagine hating Jones, but the majority of your favorite fighters all have juiced as well? Jones stands above everyone, and the greatest to ever do it.

Even more laughable is that he's repeatedly getting off with PEDs when Bradley Scott just got a two year ban for coke.

With Jones they had a chance to say they were serious about cleaning up the sport, instead they are either inept or corrupt. And the fact that USDA released a statement claiming not to be corrupt because of all the rumours that Jones was going to get off, just before they announced his slap on the wrist speaks volumes.

I'm more interested in one of two scenarios:
1) Jones pops for the like 5th time, then what?

2) he loses horribly, thus bringing into question how good he is off juice.*

*he has obviously been using this entire suspension, so this scenario is less likely.
