1) Lol, McGreary did not win that fight.

2) McGreary has no chance against King Mo (as much as that pains me to say)

3) This card was not very good (except for Tamden... he's cool as shit)

You can rant discuss or whatnot, Who did you have?

Imo Newton 3-2

Liam won effective striking and grappling which is a big part of scoring..

Newton deserved to lose that fight. Jumping into a triangle that many times is some of the dumbest shit I have ever seen.

You don't score points by defending sub attempts in MMA. Constant sub attempts are rewarded as effective grappling.

Gave the first 3 to liam, last 2 to newton.

i thought 3 was close, but i thought 2 was clearly liams.

Had it 3-2 Newton just looking at scoring. Liam thumped him up tho

I would have probably given it 48-47 to newton, but as someone who hates newton and thinks that his luck needs to finally catch up to him... i couldn't be happier about a decision. Newton makes the division look bad, he's not good at any area of MMA

Apparently terrible BJJ technique = being world champion now days.

Newton got robbed.

Liam was much more active
Laying in a guys guard doing little shouldnt get you the fight

I understand but we are not scoring the fight as a whole, rd by rd basis, I think newton won 2,4 &5 ...he did loose 1:3.... Maybe rd 2 was the closest that decided the fight

I was rooting for Liam through and through but honestly I scored it:
Round 1: LM
Round 2: EN
Round 3: LM
Round 4: En
Round 5: EN

Newton, 3-2

Yeah newton 2,4,5 and rd 3 could go either way.

Neither should flailing your legs around and failing miserably with simplistic BJJ technique.

A lot of those sub attempts were pretty tight, especially the first one and the mounted triangle.

The kimura was very legit too, still surprised Newton got out of that.
