UFC always has a bunch of scrubs on the prelims for internationals shows especially in Asia, it seems like they know no ones watching at 3AM anyway so might as well burn-up a host of no--names' contracted fights all at once.

Correct. On international cards UFC always puts local fighters on the pre-lims. They know these fights are not going to sell the paper view but they definitely sell live seats in that area . The people of Singapore want to see local fighters on the card and many of the friends and family and teammates will buy tickets to go see them. Once in a while a real gem will show up and the UFC will take that talent further it’s a win-win
