Ok ok, I'm late to the party, don't give me $hit.

Let me just say, the Original Trilogy is one of my favorites, and a part of my childhood. I grew up on Star Wars, and absolutely love the franchise. and I'm sure like others, the new trilogy broke my heart.

so like many of you, I was disheartened to see @Dragonlordxxxxx 's review and were like, "WTF?!?!?"

But after seeing the film last night, he was absolutely correct. My only criticism of Dragonlord's review is that I place The Last Jedi @ 3.5/10.

What a complete and total $hit film. Here are terrible aspects of this film.

1) I thought I would never say, "wow, this Star Wars character is actually worse and more annoying than Jar Jar Binks"
Rose (the not so attractive Asian Girl) ruined what could have been a salvageable film.

2) Laura Dern's character watches as half of the transport pods are destroyed before taking drastic action (in what was a cool scene btw)

3) Finn's character is completely wasted, and the subplot to go to that Casino city to recruit a code breaker was terribly stupid. Essentially, Finn and Rose go to Vegas and free a bunch of Greyhounds who are mistreated. (and these actions scenes were terrible)

4) Mary Poppins General Leia going through space, and saving herself after being blown into space was cringe worthy

5) Admiral Ackbar's complete and total anti-climactic death. I'm surprised no one else mentioned this in Dragon's original thread. his death wasn't even given screen time. It should have been him, not Laura Dern would did the Kamikaze light speed into the Imperial fleet.

6) Luke Skywalker...after all these years of waiting, and his hermit-esque life style, we were hoping for a Muhammad Ali like return to the arena and coming out of retirement tour-de-force performance...we are unfortunately met with a reluctant, IDGAF, emo old man.

7) and since when do Cruisers have unlimited force fields? and since when can Tie Fighters NOT attack rebel ships without the cover and support of Star Destroyers?

8) probably the absolute worst scene is when Rose prevents Finn from sacrificing himself into that cannon but flying her aircraft into his. did she not calculate the potential risk in this? that she could have immediately killed both of them? and...and...somehow Finn is able to drag Rose's body all across that frozen tundra into the Rebel bunker WITHOUT being seen by Imperial forces. LOL.

9) Luke Skywalker's reunion with Chewbacca and R2-D2..and his lack of enthusiasm.

10) Chewbacca's character was also wasted...this was a borderline cameo tbh.

11) those Pogs, (owl like creatures) ...this was probably the blatant market merchandise ploy since Billy Blanks released those "forearm stress balls" for his "advanced" Tae Bo classes.

There are many other criticisms, but The Last Jedi was so bad...that I place it in the same category as Phantom Menace and Attack of the Clones.

The film did have some cool moments, but too few, and could not be saved.

very disappointing.

anyone who rated this 5/10 or higher, your opinions on films will no longer will be respected.

I gave it 3.5/10. The one who filmed and wrote a script for this movie, especially because of Luke Skywalker should never be allowed to film anymore or at least he should really do something independently in the future to be again allowed to continue filmmaking. Looper was very good, but Rian shouldn't be allowed to write and direct anymore, until proven otherwise which he should do independently.

I gave it 10/10. It showed women can be great too!

yea, come to think of it, you're right.

I loved how every one in the rebel alliance who was in a position of power had to be a women.

I loved how Laura dern's hair was purple, to show, just how "rebellious" and "free" she is.

I'm changing my rating. 10/10

Indeed. I believe your points are universally shared.

Looper was a fantastic film....another reason why I was so shocked with how terrible this film was.

And I left the theater disappointed.

Honestly, the sensation I felt after watching this film was the equivalent of when a girl invites you over, or out to drinks and you're 98% sure you are going to get action...and then...she goes to bed, falls asleep or you completely misread the situation.

Yea I liked rogue one and force awakens but thought the last jedi was total dogshit. How in the FUCK do they bring back luke skywalker and not create some uber fucking badass fights with him is unforgiveable...and im not even a fanboy. Its like making a conan movie where conan doesnt lift a sword.

hahahahahaha....yea no shit.

and even though Force Awakes and Rogue One had clear problems, they were still watchable, and decent films.

yea, I think I went through all 53 pages of Dragon's thread.

I think only 1 other person mentioned Admiral Ackbar's death...

and only a few others mentioned Rose's "romantic" reckless decision to fly into Finn's aircraft.

Fu*k this movie.

Yeah I've noticed the only people who liked it had to offer the lengthiest explanations of why or dig under the surface of everything to extract some kind of quality.

From what I can tell it seems made to upset everyone who liked TFA and full of comically awful moments. I haven't seen it in the context of the film, but when I saw the clip of Leia floating through space.... come on. That shit would've took me out of any movie regardless of context.

After watching that Disney feminist shit called the force awakens,I refuse to watch any and all future star wars films. And I saw the orgy so trilogy when they where released the first time.

every scene with Rose will result in a similar reaction.

God damn, she was terrible...whiny...poor lines...poor acting. fu*k her character.

I seriously would have preferred a cross-species homosexual romance with Finn and Jar Jar Binks

Proud to say I have not, and will not ever see this piece of shit film.

Fool me once, motherfuckers.

And the more I hear about it, the gladder I become with that decision.

It sounds like this Rian Johnson asshole just wanted to take glee in wrecking everyone’s beloved characters, because it is so ‘edgy’ and ‘defies conventional expectations’.

Fook you, jackass.

I’m good with the original trilogy, and Rogue One.

I put the rest of the garbage in the trash bin with Indy 4, Robocop remake, Ghostbitches, etc.

The Pogs were made to cover up real birds on the island they filmed. They were also a good marketing tool.

I'm still not completely over what they did. This piece of shit film shat on Star Wars legacy in an unforgivable way.

I said it before and i'll say it again, Master Yoda and Luke Skywalker burned the Jedi sacred scrolls and said they were essentially useless... let that sink in for a moment.. It enrages me.

Skywalker went out like a bitch aswell, it's sad.

Fucking LOL at Luke Skywalker being scared of that big nosed bastard Kylo Ren aswell, do they think we are stupid or something? Luke is the most powerful Jedi ever and has defeated the best the Empire has offered for years his tales are legendary in the expanded universe and we are told he is scared of a teenager?
