Lmao wow mack ripped this shit up.
Lmao wow mack ripped this shit up.
Does this game have pvp where you can run into another group of actual players in the same world?
No. That would be fun.
Well I'm not buying it then. That's dumb as fuck.
LOL.
It is weird how this franchise has so much "well duh?" potential. Like, you look at it, and think "well, why didn't they do that?"
It feels like a game that's ambitions are limited by technology, but the problem is that the technology is there. It's right there. You're thinking "Just do it.
...but they don't do it. Instead, you're just left with garbage.
It could be a legit console seller if they made it an actual AAA game. Yanno something the Xbox needs. I'm sitting here with my thumb up my ass staring at my one x.
All hearts defeated and now have six survivors again. Moved everyone into the Brewery and built an armory. Now I just gotta keep them all alive when I move into the next map.
FIVE years of development. Microsoft exclusive
...and they released a slightly more polished version of the Xbox 360 Indie game that preceded it.
Who knows though? The first game sold well, despite it being a pile of shit with some interesting ideas. I wouldn't be surprised if this game found an audience, that defied critical reception. "Destiny" did it.
Have you actually played it or are you just some kind of toolbag hater like I am with most games.
Played it. It's repetitive, fetch quest bullshit.
At best, it's a game with some alright ideas, that you really need to have an imagination to make it more than what it is. If you liked it, that's cool, but to me, I had the same experience with SOD, that I had with Dead Rising(even though they're a lot different). The core of the game is so generic and basic, and it gets old after about three hours. It's the same shit over and over again, with nothing driving you forward. If you can look past that, and get into the atmosphere, well then I can't argue with that. It just wasn't for me.
And that's without touching on it's glaring technical issues. To me, it's a basic bitch, repetitive grind...that's also a glitch ridden mess.
EDIT - LOL, oh' wait, you were talking about the sequel. My bad. No, I haven't played it, but the poor reviews don't exactly shock me, and knowing the formula, I'm comfortable with believing it's just as bad as the first game was. In fairness, when looking at the gameplay, I think the reviews might be overly harsh, considering some of these same people loved the first game, and it looks about the same to me, with some very minor tweaks. I think some are just waking up to the fact that the franchise wasn't that great to begin with.
