I wouldn't ditch the curls all togeather, you have to change up your lifting routine every 4-8 weeks to get max results, I would sub curls in and out still, and I like to isolate muscle groups when trying to gain.

Lol oh hell that's the dumbest thing I've ever read. Scientific experiments have proven that gaining mass is something that is achieved best by using many different muscle groups as once, which is why exercises such as squats and deadlifts are fantastic for bulking your entire body up.

I do agree with you on variation though.

That's good to hear you are working out, but you would have all of those gains and more if you had been eating correctly. Also I would have to agree with the previous poster- drinking whole milk instead would have probably been more beneficial.

I want vids. And no, it's not a squat if it's in a smith machine. And no, it's not a deadlift when you hold on to a bar and shrug your traps up. Post a video that thoroughly documents the compound movements used in your routine. Otherwise, I'm still calling bullshit.

We have shown squats, deadlifts , shoulder press , bench press already , i guess u havent been watching the show!

If u look on that so called shrug mixed up shot with the deadlift, look at the video info! ( it tells u the error right there) I have only answered that question bout 30 times already. I dont edit the show and the shot of those two got mixed up!
 
I am not cheating anyone. Is taking creatine and protein shakes honorable then? isnt that cheating too? its not natural either!

Do u consider taking viagra cheating?
is taking prescription medication just to feel better and not cure an ailment cheating?

bottom line it is my body, Sounds like many people have problems with steroids because u wouldnt use them.

People think that any side effect associated with steroids I will get full blown! That is not the case! My side effects have been extremely minimal! People think that this one oral cycle is going to shut down my liver! Ummmm no! Maybe if i was runnin 100mg everyday for a year but I am not doing anything close to a heavy dose for 12 weeks.

People think i have gained all water weight??? Come on and use your brain! So working out for 12 weeks and eating over double my calories will not gain me weight? get real!!

Whats going to happen to me after my cycle, pct and post pct? Not too much, I will continue to work out and eat more. I will be either the same weight or have gained even more weight. As for long term side effects??? Highly unlikley.

LOOK Most of my gains are natural with a little help with the steroids! Some people need to take their panties out of their butt and stop bitching. Also I would like to thank the clear minded and not overly biased supporters for understanding my cause.

You have not shown dead lifts you showed shoulder shrugs and called them deadlifts in episode 5 or 6. You have yet to show an actual dead lift. You did show squats not in the smith machine, but no dead lifts.

Look dude, this isn't an anti-steroid forum. This ain't focus on the family online. Most of us here are well aware of the different types of steroids, their effects, side effects, etc. We know that administered properly, smart cycling isn't going to have many long term side effects while exacting many benefits. *HINT: certain orals are known for increasing quick gains through glycogen retention and water weight, a lot of which is lost post cycle. Also known for relatively high liver toxicity (not that I think it will be a problem for you).

Also we (I think I speak for most the D&S guys) certainly don't give a shit about your morals.

Have you actually tried working out and eating a decent diet before doing a cycle? And not being such a pussy about what you eat? Based on what you have shown on the videos, neither your diet nor training are not optimal. And I know there is some kind of surprise condition to justify this at the end, but until you prove otherwise, you really need to improve on your entire training/diet/supplementation. Don't just tell us your diet and training is OK, most people never like to believe they are doing anything wrong.

And have you at least tried consulting with anyone experienced and intelligent about instead of the dumbasses you keep interviewing on the show? You claim yourself to be unbiased about smart steroid use, yet you keep portraying steroid users as unintelligent conceited road-raging meatheads.

And finally, whey protein and creatine are both naturally occurring substances both in your regular diet and within your body. Not to mention they can be legally purchased and used without a prescription (not that I really take gov't regulation to be any kind of standard for safety or anything) but you get the idea. Comparing protein and creatine to AAS is just ludicrous.

I didn't mean ONLY isolated exercises, just in combinations with multi-targetted lifts, and don't curls target forearms as well as biceps?

I don't remember entirely but didn't he talk to like his doctor about steroid use in the episode? he said 4 people a day talk to that doctor about it or something... and didn't his doctor tell him NOT to take steroids?

Seriously, man, I don't care what "condition" is going to be revealed in the end. If you would just man up and eat stuff that's good for you, whether you like it or not, and lift right you'd make progress. You don't eat enough, and what you do eat is shit, and you workout like a girl then try to say that steroids are your only way out? Come on.:icon_neut
 
If that were true, then you would have gotten your diet and training in order first. You could have spent the cash on a trainer and had better results.
 
Another book suggestion is Super Squats by Randall Strossen, the guy that owns (?) Ironmind.
I think cheating is the wrong word. But I don't think that steroid users can say that they reached a certain strength. When a girl gets plastic surgery, she essentially bought her new nose. I think similarly, gains from steroids were bought (although it's not a completely sound analogy because steroid users still have to work hard at the gym; after plastic surgery, you don't have to work hard to have big boobs).
Those are just my two cents. I've got nothing against steroids, I just think someone should reach their genetic limit before using them. Regardless, I want to help you achieve your goal. If you want to get stronger, keep up the Starting Strength, look into Super Squats, and maybe in a year look into a Westside routine and keep eating ALL day. If you're looking to get big and chiseled like Mr. Fantastic, I would suggest Bodybuiding.com instead.

You... are a tool. You're downplaying the use of steroids on Sherdog, yet your entire fucking series is called "Steroids Saved My Life". It's obvious that you could have made the vast majority of your gains without the use of steroids, and you seem to know this. Thus, it's easy to see that you're going for the "bait and switch" with your final reveal: probably baiting moron "hardgainers" with the "steroids" plug and switching to what (almost) everybody here understands: that the right combination of Science and Hauling Motherfucking Ass will always work. The last thing we fucking need is to overrun our cities with strong stupid people. Thanks for ruining the world, jackass.

Thank you for your opinion and the book suggestions, I will look into the super squats book. I hate doing squats but i do them often because I feel such a burn from them, Its a great feeling when u know u worked them so hard that u can barley walk the next day.
