Stipe miocic is the most skilled hw we've ever seen.

<36>
you're definitely not the most skilled hw when you got absolutely countered by arlovski

Arlovski went 4/6 on significant strikes to the head against Stipe.

Arlovski was 4/16 on significant strikes against Fedor.

Btw, remember that time Stipe fought the guy with a reach and weight advantage over him? That Nordic looking guy that knocked him the fuck out?

Looping punches, next to no kicks, no wrestling.

No wrestling ? The man has been competing at a high level in Sambo for over 20 years, the stupidity on these boards always surprises me.

He's one of the least hit fighter during his era is becuase he rarely go up against good strikers not because he got amazing movement/head movement like cruz

He doesn't have amazing head movement like Cruz because he's not a 135 lb manlet.

Do you literally have Downs Syndrome?

Post a gif where arlovski counters miocic like he did against fedor.
Remember that time when fedor in cage against a mw?

Exactly you can't because arlovski can't counter someone like stipe but he can do it against fedor

What exactly are you claiming that he did to Fedor?

Pretty sure almost nothing happened in that fight until Arlovski was laying facedown dead on the canvas.

Your comment just prove how much of a casual you are
If you honestly think stipe is just wrestler with heavyhand then pls stop watching mma.
Please enlighten us as to how he's anything but a wrestler / "boxer" .

Did you even watch this entire gif?

Yeah, I see the gif.

Arlovski lands two punches to Fedor's shoulder and then gets knocked out cold.

Fedor really must be the GOAT if you're trying to somehow criticize him for knocking out the best boxer in the division without taking any damage while being shorter, weighing less and having less reach.

I have Fedor, he had the most tools to me. Lacked the use of knees and kicks, but on his best day had some very solid boxing, a little wild at times but it was hard to counter due to the speed and angles. He had a lot of tools in the grappling department...submissions, sweeps, trips and had some brutal GnP...wasn't the greatest wrestler but was solid at a short range, he had the pressure and reflexes to get it there when it mattered.

Stipe is better defensively striking, much better head movement and fighting from a distance but he lacks killer instinct when he can get it to the ground, his gnp isn't super deadly but it's enough to stop a fight if prolonged and he doesn't actively go for submission.

Cain have the strongest asset out of any heavyweight with his wrestling, very solid striker too especially considering his last fight but he's generally a wrestler who controls opponents.

Reem is slept on, I'd say he is even more well rounded than Stipe & Cain, just at times he displays bad fight IQ & can lack defensively. Over all though, I'd put him up there.

I've seen all the gifs and I've actually watched the fight. I've also seen the Fightmetric stats.

You're acting like Arlovski put on some clinic when in reality he didn't inflict any damage whatsoever and got effortlessly knocked out 3 minutes into the first round.... despite size and reach advantages.

About as embarrassing as not being able to finish Francis ford escort from dominant positions including mounts for four rounds?

It's either him or DC. We'll see which one soon enough.

after rewatching all stipe fights,I think he's the most skilled hw we've ever seen in mma.what make stipe so special in hw is his technical boxing.even though he got Huge power,it is his precision and finding/creating angle, footwork and mastery of short range hooks + straight punches that make him so dangerous. his counter striking/head movement is also up there with the best as shown in the recent fight against ngannou and his other fights.the way he outskilled economicalreem should prove that he's the best in hw.no one was able to outskilled economicalreem like that, literally no one.and no one was able to dominated mark hunt, arlovski(on 6 fight winning streak) and Jds the way stipe did
He is amazing. Wonder if he ever kicks though? Imagine stipe with cro cop level kicks. Jesus christ. He literally has everything else. If miocic can kick well, dc has no chance.

He's up there, but I still think Werdum is more skilled. I'd have to see a rematch.
I like werdum but honestly miocic is a terrible matchup for him. Kncokout power, iron chin, boxing, movement, speed advantage. Also not to mentiom wrestling and tskedown defense.

Stipe has a good chin but it’s far from iron. He does however recover well and has good composure, and when he gets hurt he knows to take the fight to the ground to help him recover.

He also has zero submission game, so he is not a complete fighter. He however is very good at what he does - implementing his boxing with his wrestling.

If Werdum gets a position like that on Ngannou, I have a hard time believing he doesn’t finish him. He is also my pick for the current most complete HW with Fedor being my all time pick.
