Stop making excuses for Anderson Silva

most of the "crazy new shit" is on the banned list.

its just not specifically named but they have terms like "anything not approved for human use" or "anything still in clinical trials"

that covers pretty much all of the "crazy new shit"

basically, ANYTHING that isnt approved for humans and/or doesnt have a verifiable medical use is prohibited.
Not just that, there are a lot of PEDs that can be prescribed by an endocrinologist to a person (Marijuana, HgH, etc..) legally but is forbidden as well for use in a competition.

(Just adding for the sake of completeness.)

well yes, i was just covering Whiskey's claims that there is "stuff that isnt on the list".. Wada deliberately have catch-all that cover anything, in theory there is nothing that isnt on the list..

for instance, if i invent a pill tomorrow that can raise your red blood cell count, its automatically on the list under "not approved for human use", "in clinical trials", "blood manipulation"

but yeh, theres loads of approved medications that arent permitted in sport.

And that Chael Sonnen was tested [which was post-fight, and the testosterone was still in full effect on his body], yet Anderson Silva being one of the biggest names back in that days was never tested?

Do you have any reliable source that can attest that Anderson Silva was never tested up until Diaz or are you just pulling these out of thin air?

We know that commission testing was largely restricted to fight night only and even then it was within "financial feasibility". Some commissions had done pre-fight testing for example the Indian Tribe do but it involves the athlete booking an appointment and attending the testing agency so its pretty pointless. At minimum they got 24/48 hours notice of a test

Nevada were the first ones to do an "enhanced testing program" in other words also out of competition and that was in 2013 for the Travis Brown v Josh Barnett fight (the irony being that its clear from the test data for those two that both were doping but because there was no actual "positive" nevada didnt notice)

They spent 2014 "evaluating" how it had gone for Brown/Barnett and the "enhanced program" was implemented properly for late 2014/early 2015.

Silva v Diaz to my knowledge was the second fight under the enhanced testing program. It did out of competition testing and used WADA accredited labs> It was almost certainly the first time Silva waqs ever tested out of competition and as we know he was positive on multiple occasions for multiple substances.

one argument people make is that he failed his fight night test, which he knew was coming.. but theres a big difference between a fight night test sent to a wada lab, and a fight night test send to quest diagnostics as it did before.

Half the tests that commissions sent to quest were only analysed for recreational drugs anyway

All that being said, we have no idea what the substance is. It could be something like ostarine which has been found in a ton of supplements, it could be something he had a prescription for but didnt declare, equally they could have caught him at the end of his cycle and it could be a clomid/letro/diuretic situation

....mmmmm so you are saying Anderson , JJones and the people around them are just assholes that didn't know anything about the existence of that new shit that is not on the banned list you talked about?... all right.

Doesn't matter if they did or not.

The fighters you are championing as if they are clean...are NOT clean. They all take something legal or illegal that gives them advantages and that's the whole point of you yelling cheater at Silva and others.

There is plenty NOT on the banned list.

There is new shit being made all the time.

Let the man juice for fuck sake
He's 49 years old!

USADA testing is much more strict and advanced than anything Anderson Silva has ever faced during his title defenses. It's possible that he has been cheating for his entire career.

If your friend stole $100 from your wallet, then it's possible the thief also took some money from you last year or even 5 years ago. It's just now that you're finding out about it.

Stop acting like Anderson Silva broke your dream and sent you crying home to your mommy. The reality is the UFC is tainted when drug busts happen. Deal with it.

It is completely unfair for a natural fighter to go up against someone who has an unnatural advantage with performance-enhancing drugs.

There is plenty NOT on the banned list.

There is new shit being made all the time.

and as ive just explained there are specifics on the banned list that cover it, but clearly you didnt bother reading what I put..

for example

"anything in clinical trials"

"anything not approved for human use"

Category S0

"Any pharmacological substance which is not addressed by any of the subsequent sections of the List and with no current approval by any governmental regulatory health authority for human therapeutic use (e.g. drugs under pre-clinical or clinical development or discontinued, designer drugs, substances approved only for veterinary use) is prohibited at all times."

https://www.wada-ama.org/en/prohibited-list/prohibited-at-all-times/non-approved-substances

So no, if you invent some "new shit" tomorrow it is still prohibited because it is specifically covered by S0 - anything that doesnt have current regulatory approval for human therapeutic use..

So the "new shit" being invented every day IS ALL ON THE PROHIBITED LIST

But I highly doubt he was using when he was broke during his first fights.
It's not out of the realm of possibility. It's as easy for him to buy steroids in Brazil as it is for you and I to buy a bag of chips...

You say that like everything being made is public. lol

You have a lot to learn about the world. It's a big place.

come to think about it Anderson's dominance came when he was 31-2 years hold and lasted 8-9 years.

That's definitely not something that's normal imo. From all the years I've watched sports, athletic performance dips significantly after the early 30 mark, even the ones with longevity hit some kinda of a wall when they reach 34-35.

The only people that seems to reach their prime in their 30's are on something whether it's TRT or illegal stuff.

I'm not saying whether GSP juiced or not, I feel like his decline along with Fedor's and BJ Penn's seems to correspond with the normal age curve.

GSP looks his best in his mid to late twenties. He really started to slow down his last couple of fights against Shields, Diaz, Condit and finally Hendricks. The explosiveness was no longer the same. He looked even slower against Bisping.

Same as Fedor and BJ, once they hit the 30's mark, it's a massive decline.

You need to show before and after pictures for comparison.

Remember that the cage has bright lights, and the shading might give an illusion. Fighters also have to cut weight, and it gives another illusion when you have a low bodyfat percentage. A 6-pack isn't enough to accuse someone.
