This is my training log. I am 29 years old, 5'10" and I weight 185 lbs. I mainly train with functional patterns.
I will be posting my activities by the week. This is last week, July 3rd to 9th :
Monday : rest
Tuesday : HIIT - 12 reps each / 24 seconds rest ; one minute rest between rounds; 3 rounds.
I will be using a 25 lb bag and kettlebell for a while as I am coming back from an elbow injury...
Sandbag snatch burpees
Sandbag carry alternating lunge
Sandbag Clean to shoulder + overhead press
Plank builds + sandbag side drag
Sandbag jump squats
Alternating one arm kettlebell swings
Wednesday : 5 km interval jog (1x30 sec sprint every 3 minutes + running all climbing sections)
Thursday : Strength
Squat (180 lb x 8 x 3)
Row (180 lb x 8 x 3)
Finisher : 35 lb KB swings x 12 x 3
Turkish get ups 25 lb KB x 5 each arm
Friday : rest
Saturday : Hiking; moderate pace : 12 km / 600 m elevation. Did a couple surprise sprints on the way up racing with my brothers
Sunday : Hiking; moderate pace :8 km / 300 m elevation
